Take a look at this amazing video showing the moment when Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines. The footage shows the storm surge sweeping into the town of Hernani on the island of Samar. The pictures were taken by a charity worker from the top story of a boarding house - where six people were taking shelter.

@@aron1332 It's not about the height, it's about the pressure. That storm surge destroyed most of the houses in Tacloban even the ones that were made in high quality materials were also destroyed.

@@theartofmusic714 look at the aftermath of what happened in Japan. Some towns are totally wiped out with literally no trace of houses.

Philippines:LM STILL STANDING! Yolanda was the deadliets strongest dangerous scariest poweful typhoon was hit by the pilipinas(my country) in nobemver 8 2013 at 4pm yolanda started on 4pm and yolanda started to throw water and yolanda was 2 days in typhoon and yolanda stoped d went to china taiwan s.korea i think? And in 2017 yolanda come back to the philippines and started typhooning the pilipinas and i was born at 2016 and i was a baby in 2017 and lm a survivor at yolanda and yolanda stoped and just go somewhere else and philippines hit by a 20 typhoons a storngest typhoons and i hope ya'll get rest pray for the philippines🙏
