Your "Yeah But!" comment is RIGHT on! I worked for years in Canada with women's Uni hockey and I have the UTMOST respect for these kids. This comparison between boys and girls is sickening! It is a different game! They are different people! Let us respect excellence where we find it! I had very little interest in basketball, men's or women's, til Clark came along. She deserves BIG TIME respect!

She's not the Curry, she's the Woods in terms of impact. She's Elway, Matrix, Larry Bird. The ENTIRE IA team is AWESOME! They are ALL must-see.

LOGO “3” … Steph Curry may have created it, but Caitlin owns it right now. I remember 1979 … Larry Bird at Indiana State and Magic Johnson at Michigan State. They changed College Basketball, and the NBA in 1980s.

If you set picks for CC she could score 10 points easily in the G lesgue. She could not beat athletic men 1 on 1 but with that step back she's got if you set picks for her she could hit that. And on top of everything Clark is an incredible visionary with the ball and a fantastic passer.

How many sellouts in G-league this year/ever... People recognize talent and entertaining sports and that's Iowa right now. She could get 10 points, it's defense where she would fail more.

It’s not even a fair argument. And it’s not worth while. I don’t understand the “yeahhhh but” either. She’s fantastic, she’s a fantastic role model, I love watching her, and I love that we have a great female athlete in basketball for young girls who want to aspire to be athletes to look up to.

Because the WNBA does not know how to market & promote their players? They didn't, and no one can tell me otherwise. Yes, the WNBA does not have the type of money the NBA has, but they need to try. Another thing is I'm for equality, but that does not mean that the WNBA needs to be identical to the NBA. Examples, why are there a WNBA team in Washington DC called the Mystics when Washington DC already have a pro basketball team in the NBA's Washington Wizards? The Mystics should at least be based out of Baltimore. WNBA's Dallas Wings should be in Austin, TX because of the NBA having the Dallas Mavericks. Do Atlanta really need a WNBA team in the Atlanta Dream, when the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA exist? The Dream instead should be in another southern city like Jacksonville, Tampa & Birmingham. If the WNBA did this, then maybe the league would be bigger, with teams having a big fan base because they are the only pro basketball team in town, and because they are marketing their players better.

Entertainment. Excitement. Fan loyalty. Promotion. The WNBA needs to learn a LOT from the NCAA.

The truth is that the WNBA can't survive financially. They get money from the NBA to stay afloat. o
@chillmaya
@chillmaya 3 ай бұрын
The thoughts above may be true. Other points to mention: The NCAA has existed longer and thus has a more established brand. It also has a larger talent pool (only 12 WNBA teams) and marketing budget.

@@chillmaya But in the end, if the WNBA was just great entertaining fun to watch, they'd get plenty of butts in the seats and money in the till. That's what they need to focus on improving.
