What are you goin on about? Rich has been pretty low on Caleb compared to a lot of the media or even compared to Brockman. I personally think the kids gonna be great but Rich has had a tempered approach to talking about him.

I'm with Chris and I'm on the opposite end of fandom here - as a lifelong Saints fan, one of the best days of my life was when they finally won it all and one of my most-prized possessions is the first-year bobblehead I've had since childhood (that's '67, btw) - yes, I'm old and one of the reasons I am as old as I am now is that I've turned off plenty of games that would have taken many years off my life had I stuck with it and watched until the bitter end, and there have been plenty of bitter endings in Saints history (we were the inventors of the bagheads after all) - so I don't believe it's a matter of being a TRUE fan or not, it's just a matter of survival at some point and I'm only half kidding.

Mike Tomlin is 52, lol. Guys are coaching well into their 70s these days. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he's in the NFL for another 20+ years unless he just completely falls apart as a coach.

I think the Vikings should be his chance to prove he can play decently with a good coaching staff. If he ends up being mediocre, then career backup it is. If not...he's got a big payday coming next year. Actually could be a fun story to watch, but I like underdogs and redemption arcs.

Vikings with that roster? Make the playoffs with that QB and that coach? Whew wee boys, it really does ring true that every team sees themselves as a playoff team. And since "anything" can happen in the playoffs, we must conclude that every team sees themselves as Super Bowl contenders. For a full 12 months a year, the 32 teams in the National Football League prepare for one day in February: Super Bowl Sunday.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, did I miss Sam Darnolds big comeback season? When did this happen? Last I remember was he was a turnover machine that couldn't make reads or read a defense and sucked on every team he was on, then sat and did nothing on the 49ers for a season. So what am I missing that would make anyone think he's suddenly a starting caliber QB? I know desperate Vikings fans have deluded themselves into thinking this, by why so many others? No wonder why Justin Jefferson is going to bail on that sad sack franchise. Sam DArnold, LMAO.

Darnold was adequate on a bad Carolina team. And of course he was going to sit on the bench because Purdy is the established starter in SF. He'll either prove he's decent or not. I'm guessing he once hurt your feelings somehow, because this is some very angry stuff.

So I don't know anything about Kaitlyn. Why is she so talked about and hyped. We never hear about any WNBA player like this. Is she supposed to be the next LeBrona James or something or is all this just an effort to get more people watching the WNBA? I can't imagine OG women's players are too happy about how much exposure she's been getting, while they were putting in the work and overlooked. Or maybe they're happy having the WNBA getting more exposure. What's the deal?

Caleb Williams was with Oklahoma first, played great and only transferred because of Lincoln Riley, his coach. Regardless, people said that about Ohio State, and now we have CJ Stroud, so it doesn't really mean anything.

With two Steelers WML's in a week, where Brockman thinks they might go 0-6 at the end and 1-4 in the beginning...he thinks they are winning 4 or 5 games? GTFOH! Team will be marketably better everywhere but maybe receiver, and they went 5-1 in division so like they lose 3 of 4 at the end, they still win like 9 or 10 games because the start is not hard.

A lot of fans are going to have to get used to the fact that Gen Z kids are in the NFL and that's who will be on the rosters for years to come. So many fans are overly conservative, totally conformist and lash out with anger over the dumbest things. The reality is these people were too scared to ever try anything unique in life and lash at those with more courage than them.

JJ McCarthy is starting every single game for the Vikings. Because, well, anybody and everybody knows that Sam Darnold is terrible. Since there is no way the Bears are going 17-0 JJ will start more games than Williams wins. Russ is the starter after the bye, they are basically going 6-3 to start the season at worst

I was so glad everyone stopped talking about Caitlin Clark, and then dickless has to bring her back up. Look, she had her 15 minutes. Now she's shooting an average of 39% in four games. 39%. My cat can shoot 39% and she's only 10" tall. Stop it already. Nobody cared about the WNBA before she got there, and nobody cares about it now.

Absolutely. She might be, all and all, the most overhyped athlete ever. (I’ll take other suggestions to that.). But it’s also not fair to put the whole “save the WNBA” banner on her. I figured people would be paying attention to her for the first 5 games and then remember it’s the wnba.
