(English)
Meringue Apple Pie
Ingredients:
pastry:
apple x2
unsalted butter 18g(for cooking)
sugar 25g
cinnamon powder 1teaspoon
filling:
egg 2
sugar 30g
vegetable oil 60g
vanilla sugar 7.5g
all purpose flour 340g
meringue:
egg white 1
icing sugar 160g
apricot jam 3 tablespoon
Instructions:
1. Peel and grate the apples in a big bowl.
2. Add butter on the pan, cook the apple, add sugar and sprinkle cinnamon powder into the grated apple. Set aside.
3. Combine egg, sugar, oil vanilla sugar and flour. Knead a few times until it comes together in a ball.
4. On a lightly floured surface, cut the dough into 2 pieces, roll out the pastry into a circle large enough to fit your tart pan. Transfer the rolled-out pastry to the tart pan. Continuous to roll the second dough and set aside.
5. Pour the cooked apple in the prepared pastry crust in an even layer. Add some apricot jam on the cooked apple before place the second dough on top.
