I've been doing this every day since I learned this simple method from a 70 year old master!
Croissants the easy way.
RECIPE for croissants the easy way.
200 ml warm water.
200 ml warm milk.
6 g dry yeast.
40g sugar.
Mix everything well.
Add 1 chicken egg.
1 egg white.
50 ml vegetable oil.
Mix everything together.
Sift 720 g flour.
3g salt.
Knead the dough with a spatula.
Add flour in parts.
Sift 50 g of flour onto the table.
Place the dough on the table.
Knead the dough with your hands.
The dough sticks to your hands a little.
Lubricate your hands with vegetable oil.
Form the dough into a ball.
Grease a bowl with vegetable oil.
Place the dough in a bowl.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
The dough turned out well.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Place the dough on the table.
Form the dough into a ball.
Dust the dough with flour.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Dough thickness 2 cm.
Using a bowl, mark the center of the dough.
Cut the dough 8 times.
Grease the dough with soft butter (60 g).
Fold the dough like I did.
Round the dough.
Grease the plate with vegetable oil.
Place the dough on a plate.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
In 30 minutes.
Take the dough out of the fridge.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Place the dough on the table.
Dust the dough with flour.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Dough thickness 1 cm.
Divide the dough into 16 parts.
Make slits in the dough.
Fold the dough like I did.
Do the same with the remaining dough.
Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cover the croissants with cling film.
Let the croissants rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
Mix egg yolk and 1 tablespoon milk.
Brush the croissants with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 tablespoon milk.
Bake croissants in an oven preheated to 190°C for 20-25 minutes.
Look how fluffy the croissants turned out!
So soft and delicious!
Thats very delicious!
I love making sandwiches with these croissants!

I love your videos. My dough has not failed to rise since I started watching. After that where it goes different. Until I put out my cooling rack on the counter. Then it looks like a train wreck. I do have to say my buns and rolls and pastries are not very pretty or look like yours, but with a little more jam or butter, they taste pretty good. My bride of 50 years says, “ You better clean up this mess and turnoff the oven! Life is wonderful when you bake. Makes me smile. I wish I would have learned this 50 years ago. ❤❤❤ love my fellow bakers.
