Created this pour when I was having a super bad day feeling so much anxiety for my friend who is stuck in Kyiv & just one of millions. So this really helped to distract me and feel I got a very different outcome than usual probably because of it. I didn’t think it was very pretty at the time but I left it because it was just something that was released and looked Interesting. This friend (my daughter’s bffs mom) helped me so much when I had cancer, she drove my kids all over at a moment’s notice, she tutored my daughter in math and chemistry ( she’s a phd in math),
Her son tutored my son, all for free. She lives here in San Diego but got stuck in Ukraine visiting her elderly mother. It’s pretty much impossible for her to get to the west now until the situation is catastrophic no buses get sent in by the Red Cross for example. -which is difficult for us to fathom here, so I’m just praying every day for some stabilization for the people there. I’m raising money for Ukrainian charities on my Instagram check my stories there for more info on how to purchase inexpensive pieces of my art. 100% of proceeds go to charity. Also if you love this piece I will include it in the charity, just not quite as inexpensive, message me here or on Instagram. Thanks for watching!
About me, I am a self taught fluid artist in Southern California. I am a breast cancer survivor and started watching fluidart/acrylic pouring videos during my year of treatment.
Pouring art was a form of therapy for me during my recovery. It quickly became a passion and I have tried many different acrylic pouring techniques! I have been greatly inspired by Rinske Douna, Molly’s artistry, Fiona Acrylic and MelyD! So thankful for all their beautiful creations here on KZfaq.
My art is mostly nature inspired as I also love to spend time at the beach, in the ocean, biking with my dogs, gardening, and generally just being outside gazing at landscapes :) I hope to do more mixed media abstract landscapes soon.
Thanks for watching my video! please subscribe! You can also see my art and it’s progression over the last year, check it out on Instagram.
