Michaela, thank you for the teaching you provide with each wonderful work. In this work you used acrylics only with water. If I want to work on the formation of cells, what base and preparation should I use first, and then superimpose the other colors on that base? Is there a special brand of product? .... Congratulations and thank you very much sincerely.

I'm wondering if you wet your brush first, and how do you clean and store the brush when your done using it? Thank you in advance for your help!
@michaelasartistry29 күн бұрын
Hi, no I don’t wet the brush, I just spread the varnish with the dry brush that obs then becomes wet with the varnish. The varnish is water soluble so I just wash the brush with dawn dish soap and water thoroughly and then lay it on paper towel to dry. Hope that helps

I’ve read good things about that varnish when I was looking for one. I’ll probably give it a try but for now, I still like the hard finish that resin gives the canvas. Thanks so much for sharing that.
@michaelasartistryАй бұрын
Thank you, I appreciate your input! yes it’s definitely much shinier and can enhance the colors and even out imperfections on the canvas. I just prefer varnish on canvas-but I do love the resin on painted wood panels! I thought I would share this because as far as varnish goes I thinks it’s the best product to work with for a nice finish 😄
