I came to your channel after watching some of your shorts that showed up on my feed. I think this is beautiful! I love your color choices. And, in my opinion, adding the gold at the end really took it to another level. Thank you for sharing!

Michaela, thank you for the teaching you provide with each wonderful work. In this work you used acrylics only with water. If I want to work on the formation of cells, what base and preparation should I use first, and then superimpose the other colors on that base? Is there a special brand of product? .... Congratulations and thank you very much sincerely.

@michaelasartistry
@michaelasartistry 29 күн бұрын
Hi, no I don’t wet the brush, I just spread the varnish with the dry brush that obs then becomes wet with the varnish. The varnish is water soluble so I just wash the brush with dawn dish soap and water thoroughly and then lay it on paper towel to dry. Hope that helps

Thank you, I appreciate your input! yes it’s definitely much shinier and can enhance the colors and even out imperfections on the canvas. I just prefer varnish on canvas-but I do love the resin on painted wood panels!
