I own the second painting. I bought it for my grandmother. She loved it - she was an artist and it has a lot of the energy she likes (she also liked caves). She recently passed away, so now this painting is on my wall.

Came for the Sega Genesis Aladdin game, stuck around for the painting process. In my opinion, this painting style should be taught in college.

Love how these turned out! This is one of my favorite "cozy" type channels. And I loved the Genesis Aladdin game, though I may have been a big fan of using abbaabba at that time.

Pour art always makes me think of ink blots! I've watched a few videos of people attempting this and I would say yours looks awesome! I had the genesis version of Aladdin too and the second you mentioned it i could see the cave of wonders... I saw that level more than if care to admit lol. Very cool.

I always do a spray varnish - typically I go for the Krylon archival stuff, glossy. Anything with UV protection is good though!

What ratio of paint to medium do you use when you're not using the pre-mixed paints?
@PushingUpRosesArt
@PushingUpRosesArt 3 жыл бұрын
Unless I am doing a dutch or chain pull pour, I always go thick - with floetrol I usually do 1 1/2 medium, 1 part paint. And that usually spans across all my mediums unless they are a strange consistency, but anything that has floetrol in it or the thickness of floetrol, it's almost ALWAYS 1 1/2: 1

Love your videos Roses, and would love to see you sculpt something with polymer clay!!!! Possibly horror or retro video game characters, or just whatever kind of things interest you… I think you would be A natural!. No telling what would come out of that mind of yours! Check out a guy on KZfaq called “the CRAFSMAN”. He’s got several world class videos regarding how to design and sculpt your first clay figure. It’s super simple, and All of the supplies are available for a few dollars at Walmart, and us subscribers would love to see what your mind comes up with! Also, you can easily mix the colors into awesome “marbled” patterns just like you do with your paint pouring art… And then you could bake it and wear it as jewelry.
