This week we got back out on a field we have hardly stepped foot on and wow what a day of metal detecting we had. It seemed like every hole we dug had something amazing in it, although not all siler and gold but still some pretty impressive history was found. Hope you enjoy

Tredegar is just over the mountain from me and where my fathers family have lived for the last 200 years l am in Rhymney Gwent so that horse fitting as travelled a fair distance very interesting ! well done on the finds

Love finishing work , seeing the notification, telling the mrs I’m gonna sit in the kitchen to unwind with a couple of ciders and watch your show !!! The double ring thing is a something called a “ roger ring” . Used on bridle tack to steer a horse from a cart or plough. 🎉
