@@markusgarvey GTLM is a dying class, esp. with ford leaving next season. they'll be down to 3 makes and six cars. shame cuz it's the most beautiful sports car racing class in the world imo, esp. when the risi 488 was still around.

I just can't stop watching this amazing video. The larger Camaro passed both McLaren and Mercedes in a curve with racing slicks (never changed to rain tires) and then blasted way ahead of them to catch and pass the other Mclaren in the last split second of the race. YES, that was for sure "The OVERTAKE OF THE YEAR".

Wow! Smart racing by Liddell and I would love to hear what 2nd place driver had to say. Did he let up or was he out of fuel? Seems like he saw the Camaro coming but all he could do is try to cut him off, but he was too late.

Chevy holding it down in as usual Ford did the thing one time with the gt40 Chevrolet won their class agains ferrari like 7 years in a row at Lemans with the corvette And now they are kicking ass in gt4 with a camaro Got to love Chevrolet. McLaren attempted to block the Camaro too...I dont think he expected it, and it was too late when he realized there was enough room to get by. Contact at that point would be all McLaren's fault. Just goes to prove the race is not over until that finish line is crossed, dont let up!

My guess... the McLaren was losing grip and started to spin...so the driver had to let up. This would explain what appears to be "cutting off"??? Just benefit of the doubt. I did a track day in the rain... certainly different
