That six inch coil makes a big difference with target id over the stock coil....Glad I purchased one.

It sure does, unfortunately the coil is 2/3 the cost of the Xterra!

The X-Terra Pro will give you more information on the target once you have lowered the Sensitivity down below 20 Sensitivity and then it's Site Dependent on how Low you need to go and I have mine set at 12 Sensitivity and I'm still getting Targets that are in the 6-8 inch range but each target is going to be different than another one and the X-Terra Pro is so easy to change it up and when I get a faint signal target, I have the same Abilities to change it up and it's not that way with the other Detectors that I have owned and it was a Simple Detector that is only using 3 Tone's Setup that I can't change it up and it's no longer in my Hands and Definitely Gone but just lower the Sensitivity down below 20 and 15 then try out the old Coil and then see what happens 🤔 when you get a target 😮 and the Lower Sensitivity 😮......

I regularly use the 6 inch coil on my xterra pro in the tot lots, they really works well together.

Thanks, yes old stuff is tough to find in these parts. I have another video I'll upload soon, it has a couple of older (1920's) items as well. Interesting stuff. Sometimes you just stumble on a site that hasn't been searched that well.

The key is that you have lowered the Sensitivity down below Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback and you usually was using the X-Terra Pro on the Fullest Sensitivity and Getting the Crappy Results "Ground Feedback " and it's a Great Detector once you learn from it about the target that it's found and there's more hidden features settings that Alot of people are not changing them.... and I have seen some videos of the X-Terra Pro and their Sensitivity was from 2 sensitivity up to 10 and I run mine at 12 Sensitivity and you will get to know what it's found and the more jumpy VDI is going on then it's not going to be a Coin target but now that you have a New Coil on the X-Terra Pro try it again on the fullest sensitivity again like you were doing in the Other videos of the X-Terra and See what happens again and I'm glad you have lowered the Sensitivity and it's not a Full Sensitivity kind of detector and I'm glad you have listened to us that have been using it for awhile now and it's a more powerful detector and the lower sensitivity and I know that it doesn't make sense but it is once you try it out and See 🤔🤔🤔....

Yes thank you for your suggestions. I do read and listen to everyone's advice. With the stock 12" coil 15 is probably a good starting point then adjust up and down depending on conditions. I will try to up the 6" sens while I've still got it mounted.👍

@@SeekandDetect 12 Sensitivity was the Starting Point for me the very first time I had turned it on and I have tried it on the full sensitivity and it's a Nightmare of Noises and I haven't been back and I don't need to once I have found that it's More Powerful Detector than what I was expecting it to be.

@@carolrice2063 I'm so used to the 900 and 540 behaving themselves at slightly below full power. Who know if this was on purpose or a mistake by minelab.

@@SeekandDetect Don't know 👍 but I have eliminated 2 Junk Carry Bags from my Belt since I have the X-Terra Pro and I was using the Simplex + and the Dig it all up Relics Hunting Setup Program that it has to use and the X-Terra Pro does tell me when I should be digging up the target and I have Dug up some Jewelry using it and I mainly Coin Shoot with it but the Solid Tone's and Numbers are 👍 and the jump of a number Or two is a totally normal reaction with any kind of detector Ever Made Today and Seriously thanks again Minelab Detector's Engineering Team for the X-Terra Pro ❤️.

6" is great for super trashy places but I don't see you pulling out any deep targets unless gopher assisted 😅 Cool that it can get that close to the poles. 👍. Deepest quarter I got at a tot lot on my channel was 8" on the Xterra Pro

What you don't see are the times I dig down to the fabric weed barrier under the bark. Because of that, I really don't shoot for anything too deep. After finding that nickel I will be going back with the 900 and the bigger coil😊

Keep your videos coming! / Maybe the Nox 900 is overkill for tot-lots. The X-Terra Pro w/6" coil worked really well in your video & seems like the ideal tot-lot machine. 😃

I like it better than the 35. It does occasionally have a mind of it's own but it's quick to hit the reset button as opposed to shut off-on like the 35. One thing I notice is I seem to go through batteries a little quicker with the 40.
