If you are familar with the Christian rockband Petra (been active for 50 years), Dan Vasc have made a cover of their song Beyond Belief. But not just a cover - he did it with John Schlitt, who happens to be the lead singer of Petra. You should check that one out also.

Absolutely love your reaction!! Dan is extremely versatile and sings from Opera to Metal and everything in between. He has a super 80's playlist. He's truly phenominal! I'll suggest "Nessun Dorma" for a start. Hoping for more Dan reactions, thank you.

Hey there He is a Christian metal singer. His band is FEARLESS Check out the album THE BOOK OF ANCIENT WISDOM. He wrote the songs straight out of the bible. I'm 63 and enjoy all his stuff. Shortly after loosing his dad to cancer, he did LAST GOODBYE from THE HOBBIT... Even with his tears, an amazing performance. He also did MY HEART WILL GO ON from TITANIC... another WOW. He even did LOCH LOMAND an old Scottish balad... He is amazing in all genres. A true blessing and obviously lifted by GOD. He does all his own filming and most music.... He is an exceptionally hard worker.... and it shows in each performance. I liked and subscribed. Thanks for reacting to DAN VASC. You said much of how this cover makes me feel. Daniel sang this song the way it was meant to be sung, forever. It is a testimony to the evolution of faith: at the beginning we see the reverent shyness of a recent convert and at the end we see the joy of the son who - recognized and accepted - gratefully throws himself into the Father's arms. Dan is a musical genius - he takes any song he wants and turns it into something better. He becomes the song he sings. He commented that as his faith grew stronger, he began to choose his versions more carefully so that he could bring people only high vibrations of joy, hope, real power and gratitude. 70 yr. Old Grandma of 2 here ⚘️ , Hes Brazilian and hes Italian on his Father's side . Dan is blessed and is sharing his talent in so many ways. So many genres and music groups, he's beyond amazing and impressive !! From Phantom of the Opera covers to Bon Jovi , to Disney Mulan cover of I'll make a man out of you, to Toto , to Bocelli , Sound of Silence , Evanesence's Bring Me to life. Elvis which he does Elvis 's American Trilogy. It is a Tribute he did for his Father just 5 days after he passed away with cancer 7 yrs ago. (Watch it all the way to the end .) Dan doesn't hesitate to show his emotions . He has power , passion , animation , heart and soul along with being so humble and real. He uses his platform to address suicide prevention and mental health issues. He's an amazing Man. Go for it he does an awesome metal version of America's National Anthem that is EPIC and our Country needs to here it NOW MORE THAN EVER !! Thank you I loved your reaction ! i love this guy, long time sam, hope all is well. he did a cover of elvis, AMERICAN TRILOGY, he did it 5 days after his dad passed away. it was his dads favorite elvis song, so he did it as a tribute to his father, you really should check it out

I have said before, if you haven’t had a “come to Jesus” moment, Dan Vasc can certainly help you get there with this. Please do a reaction on his cover of “An American Trilogy” that he dedicates to his Dad that has just passed. It was one of his Dad’s favorites. The emotion in it will shatter your heart.❤

Yes, this is the most amazing rendition of this wonderful hymn that I have ever heard. Listen to his cover of Angels We Have Heard on High, which he sings in Italian, German, Portuguese and English. It is awesome. And Adeste Fidelis, which he sings in Latin. Both are exceptional. Great review. Thanks.

Aloha, Brudda! I LOVE Dan's interpretation of this classic and beloved hymn!! He's got so much vocal and breath control! IMHO, he's the best tenor out there right now! The harmonica really gets me, too because my precious Granny played it beautifully. As I grew up we'd gather around the piano as a family, I'd play (and sing alto or 2nd soprano) and she'd play harmonica, while the rest of the family joined in. Priceless memories! I truly believe that all of Heaven stopped to listen when Dan sung this! God put him here to give people hope during these tumultuous times when there is so much fear, hatred, and despair in the world. Thank you for your opinion on this! When Dan gets to the part right after the harmonica, the song becomes a moment of Victory. Dan may have captured a sense of the moment when Jesus comes and we ascend to meet Him in the air. Certainly at that moment, one could sing with the strength and conviction he gave us. The song is in our souls to be sung with such intensity.

My first time listening to your reaction, absolutely love it. Dan covers a wide range of songs. He is classically trained and his harmonica was a gift to him from his father before he passed away. There is a multitude of other songs you can do reactions to of his. Dan Vasc is a 34-year-old Brazilian metal singer. When I saw this on my you tube feed in April about a week or so after it was released, I thought (old Gramma that I am) oh no, this guy will ruin one of my favorite hymns of all time. But I was bored so I clicked on it. At the end I was crying. This is the best version of this I will ever hear. This hymn always wanted this kind of power to get its point across; I felt it when I would sing it in church but who has that power in their voice. Senhor Vasc that's who. He has stated he is a Christian; he put this out for Easter. He worked for years to develop the power, range and vocal toolbox to deliver this kind of sound. He has over 200 videos out there on you tube spanning nearly 10 years; they document him moving from a very good singer to incredible. Most of his stuff is secular in nature; he likes to sing stuff with power and motivation and inspiration for the most part. He covers several genres. 80's music, some opera, a lot of heavy metal. I am not a fan of opera and metal music left me cold. He has introduced me to music and its potential that I had never seen before. He has several songs that are Christian; "Adeste Fideles", "Angels We Have Heard on High", Handel's "Hallelujah" where he sings all the parts of the choir 24 times, and one of my favorites, Roy Khan's "For All." I look forward to seeing more of your reactions.

You definately have to check out his other covers. Dan Vasc is a fantastic singer! I'll Make A Man Out Of You Burn Butcher Burn Toss A Coin To The Witcher or The Last Goodbye are all worth listening to. Hi, from Germany. 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m so glad you’ve been introduced to the amazing talent that is Dan Vasc. Dan has one of the best and most versatile voices I’ve ever heard. He can sing anything from opera to metal and his covers are usually better then the originals. Check out his covers of Toss a Coin to Your Witcher and Burn Butcher Burn (from The Witcher series). I was told to keep sharing my story, so here it is again! This song saved my life. I was in a dark place and fate made this appear as a suggestion for me to watch. I hadn't sobbed that hard in a while. Dan made me feel less alone in this world and that I'm not alone in trying our best everyday as flawed human beings. I'm not religious, but it felt like God hugged my heart. I hope someday he happens upon one of my comments. If he does, I want him to know how thankful I am for him. As Dan says, have yourself an epic day!
