HI the digital version, of what i made over 25 years ago. Used a Seagate 20 megabyte, yes 'mega' harddrive to make a round clock. took out the platters, and installed a plastic, 1.5 volt clock movement into the housing. scanned and photocopied a circle, and created a paper clock face, same size as the platters. It was quite a conversation piece, in the computer-fixing apartment, which at the time, was 'home' . KEEP ON CREATING, Daniele !!!!!

Good make but not much to do with a hard drive. You could have used the hard drive armature as a pendulum and made the clock pulse move the heads like a click of death.

Con una pellicola semitrasparente a specchio dietro al plexiglass frontale , il quadrante, secondo me, avrebbe avuto un effetto tunnel ancora più spettacolare. 😎⏰

Ciao Daniele, Sul retro dell'HD ci sono dei fori filettati, perchè non li sfrutti per creare una maschera di alluminio che va a coprire l'elettronica e i vari cavi? Per posizionare il jack di alimentazione potresti sfruttare la profondità dello spazio che prima era adibito al motore, così come per i due pulsanti. Fammi sapere cosa ne pensi! Ciao
