Bench Sanders are very useful tools in both metalwork and woodwork, but they can be large and cumbersome. This Mini Sander is so small it fits in one hand and yet it offers great performance and convenience.
Powered by a Foredom motor, it comes with a choice of belts and is a great asset to my workbench.

Pepetools back at it with incredibly expensive tools that you don't really *need*

Expensive for the hobbyists but not expensive for the dedicated jeweler, you pay for quality just once, but for junk you pay over and over again, I like Pepe, made in America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Long Live Vogman! Seems like a very nice little machine. Maybe not great for my helmets or droids, but great for small projects.

Very cool device but for the cost and extra cost of the power brick, I don’t see why you’d not just look for a cheap full sized belt sander or something adjacent (outside of too little space)

Okay, I was not expecting that. I thought it was some small, light-duty, hobby sander with mainly plastic parts. This looks well-made and durable. I wonder if I can put zona sheets (or a similar type for belts, I don't even know what to look up to see) on this for resin polishing.

This sander cost me nothing and Pepetools asked for nothing, so I expected cheap and flimsy too. I was VERY surprised. There IS quality here and above all CONTROL. I have a big bench sander and it's too powerful for small projects, but this one leaves me with all my fingers and a feeling of being in control 😁 As for Zona Sheets, I'm not sure how fine those are (I've never used them). I know the finest belt that came with this product is 320 grit. I hope that helps.

@@vogman Thank you, looking up the grit equivalent I just ruled out trying to put the sheets on here, too much power for 8,000 or 12,000 grit sheets. Still, I can think of many other uses this will work on instead of just sanding resin.

It turns out this thing is hundreds of AU dollars, and the required power source is hundreds more. It's out of the question before we even get to shipping costs!

@@vogman you have no idea how long I've been looking for a mini belt sander for my studio work, the "small" sanders take up WAY too much space in our workshop. Might even check out their range to see what else they have *world's tiniest workshop dreams coming true! *

In this day and age of too-cheap semi-functional tools, that unboxing was slightly arousing.

So, £200 for an (admittedly good-looking) mini-sander, then _another_ £200 for a beefy Dremel, or £241 for the one in the video, and the connection between the two is possibly proprietary (the belts are) for _just_ £458! Now, _that_ sounds like a bargain; I'll take two!!! Hopefully, they'll arrive after I've recovered from my recent lobotomy. 😵‍💫🤨
