Phil and Caroline, I had an enjoyable time watching the two of you have an enjoyable time. See -----> ( : Phil's crafting segments add a bit of whimsy and imagination, inspiring all. Loved how you scooped up the large, pottery pieces for your own crafting, Caroline. It's a rare thing to see a larker and artsy person, helping our earth, by retrieving the plastics and vinyl toys, pieces and parts and turning them into artwork to enhance our environment, rather than detracting from it. When people gather it and throw it into a dumpster, though the people have good intentions, I often wonder where does that bag of garbage eventually end up? I Thank You Caroline and Phil, for benefitting our earth while having Fun. ((Hugs))

Such a shame that 3D flowery pot was broken 😢 some other bits of nice pottery too, not the usual. I know a Soil Hill in Halifax. Not sure if it’s the same one. Lovely green bottle! That bridge is amazing, thank you for filming that and the history about it. Absolutely loved seeing that. Looks very similar to the one I visited in Giggleswick. It’s always a shame when the heads are missing on those figurines. All those pots laid out. Phil looked like he was running a car boot stall in the dump 😂 That looked a very delicate job cutting that glass. The soldier looked good completed with the light. Or is it a Fireman👨‍🚒 ohhh a full pipe 🙌 You got yourselves a fantastic spot there. Plenty of treasures everywhere 🙌

That place is a goldmine . Very nice finds . I would've repaired the base on the figurine with a solid foot of Milliput rather than craft with it , it was so nearly complete it would be too tempting to simply restore it .

I was thinking the same thing. He could still have put it on a plinth when he was done. LOL I'm hoping Phil will be brave & try out some Milliput one of these days. He could get tips from Kit & Caboodlers, or Willie, of Dirty Secrets of Scotland.

For the ridged pottery that the soldier is atop if you put a bead of hot glue around the top and let it dry it would make a more stable foundation for the cranberry glass and it wouldn't be glass on glass

The bottle stopper was used in baby bottles. A rubber tube went in the hole and nipple was attached on the other end. This proved to be deadly for babies. I could be mistaken about this stopper but have seen these on other shows.

The soldier figurine looks to be more a fireman than a soldier. The skull and crossbones could be a 17th Lancers pipe, should have death or glory on it as well. Found a broken one in a stream near me some weeks ago.
