Lol, I'm still using a Wadkin staircase cutting machine. Built in 1961 it's older than me and it cuts both strings simultaneously for both treads and risers. Old stuff well maintained is often the best.

Es una lástima que a muchas herramientas como las que están en este museo les tuvieran que cortar los cables de potencia, entiendo que es por seguridad pero su valor histórico y funcional se deprecia muchísimo, una pena 😕 It's a pity that many tools like the ones in this museum had to have their power cables cut, I understand that it's for safety but their historical and functional value depreciates a lot, a shame 😕

When visiting another city or country, every educated person must visit a museum. Visiting museums is very useful and fascinating. A love for the "eternal" and "beautiful" is awakened in a person, the beginnings of greatness and respect for history are inculcated. It is impossible to turn the excursion into something banal, ordinary and boring. The person should be a comprehensively developed person, cultured, educated, critically and analytically thinking, with knowledge of foreign languages. It is the knowledge of a foreign language that opens wide prospects for a person to realize his/her creative potential, career and financial growth. I would like to recommend the practical training course by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language", where you can find lots of useful information how to learn a foreign language quickly. Learn a foreign language and realize your creative potential on an international scale! The international community needs creative ideas! Thanks to the author of the channel for a very fascinating tour!

The Chinese wish they could be that talented in manufacturing machine tools.....move all our manufacturing out of China now ....
@robertspeer10 ай бұрын
Hey now that kind of talk is un-American. The Chinese build to specifications, in a challenging regulatory environment. The German government, resources, and access to regional markets that value this level of quality are exceptional. But that’s no reason to badmouth literally billions of people.
Ironic that one of the most expensive tool companies, Festool, has such a huge collection of circular saws in their museum. Ironic because they were invented by Skil, one of the most affordable tool companies. Just as tissues have, regardless of brand, come to be known as Kleenex, all circular saws have become known as Skil saws.
