LT play is definitely about crew skills and set-up. I was in my T8 M41 Bulldog, only 2 skill crew (No BIA, just camo/recon), normal equipment (CVS, Optics, LNMuffler), went to a forward bush to begin my spotting. 30 seconds later, boom, boom, pow, I am dead and oh look, my 6th sense just went off. I was in the game less than 60 seconds and was dead with nobody spotted. Then an LT-432 scoots past my corpse and proceeds to dominate my team. Whole match was less than 4 minutes and I only lasted 60 seconds. I finished the match with straight zeroes across the board and decided I was done for the day.

OP on this map is like pointing to a forest and saying THAT is the best tree😏 Its relative I guess - The 'amazing OP' bush/spotting location will depend on what your team and the enemy team is doing. 😉 Nobody to shoot - you can light the whole field and get 0 Assist - Enemy team Yolo's one side and you can light nothing for 10 min.🙄 This map gives you plenty of options. A combination of Patience, Opportunity and Map Awareness are the key. Great Series Claus...keep it up

@12:41 I've mentioned this in a previous video, and it riled up a few commenters who refused to believe it, but if you hit your R key to move instead of the W key when in bushes (doesn't matter if you're a LT or not), it counters the movement bonus that a Commander's Vision System gives you against enemies. You'll notice that some of the players know this (tap the R key once for creeping movement) )while they're playing and moving in the bushes at times. This way, if an enemy has CVS, it won't help them if you want to move more stealthily. This is actually why (for two reasons) the R key exists. Hit it once for creeping (locked) in bushes (counters the 10% loss that CVS gives your opponent), and twice to lock max forward movement. Do with this info what you may. Not interested in arguing. If it bothers you, then grab a few teammates and test it yourself in a training room. Otherwise, cheers!

Yeah, this is a fun map for an experienced LT tank player. But learning the holes in the bushes in the middle takes some time and being killed more than a few times.

The Manticore should be "digging out the tick" T-00 LT. Otherwise his team is as compromised as theirs. If the enemy is in your zone of responsibility...do your job.

One strategy is to skill your LT crew up in a lower tier premium. Lower tier tends to be much more forgiving. Get your skills and the credits for the gear you need.

Great job discussing all the perks and skills you would need to make this reasonably fun. I really didn't give these any creed not knowing the game math. Thanks for this, Claus. Also, I'm going to guess that Himmelsdorf is the worst scout map.

I play TDs. I use the spot in game 1. Sometimes an enemy light will almost run into me without seeing me. The camo from there is awesome. On the other side of the map I like to start at E3 and F4. Rule of thumb, change where you go depending on how the battle plays out.

Not having Muppet Team mates who know how to shoot your spots is essential!!

Ping plays a huge role in what you can do in this game, I wish more knew that.

Watching these videos will be the closest I get to enjoying WOT. On the Asia server only 10v10 now, the world has gone mad. At least I can still come here for a laugh.

I’ve had great spotting games on both sides of the map but better on the south. Best heavy spotting game in my heavies is 6k plus spotting with my T32 heavy with plus 2 MM to carry the win on the south side

Interesting, thank you. I will change my LT games on this map accordingly. Usually i play D3 or D5. But it happens really often that i dont get much spotting because of not enough support from the back.

The fact that WG has fixed, not randomly generated maps, means that experienced players have the advantage (I won't even get into the mods that also give some advantages over others.) There is no fog of war in this game.

As a rule of thumb I use CVS (when allowed, otherwise use vents to boost camo and view, among other things), low noise muffler, coated optics, crew trained with camo, bia, recon, situational awareness. Always (!) use food in your lights (and spgs 🙄). If you set up your light tank and your crew otherwise for a spotting map, you're a muppet 🤭

So... how do you suggest I play LTs with only camo and "decent" crew if I have to climb the tech tree and have to "at some point" play enough games to actually get exp for those perks and skills o.O Because that's the only reason I don't get into LTs, and when I do, well, great experience lel. facing LT players with 20k-50k+ battles under their belts sure is balanced and fun

When mentioning optics and concealment as basics, you forgot to say you can easily put camo on your light tank. It is evidently too complicated for some players to figure out how to put camo on their light tank or on their TD.

Why then the system MM puts a Manticore that has full features to the max, with one that probably has just started? That is not even MM and therefore, the enemy starts with a huge disadvantage. And imagine this happening on maps that the LIGHT tanks are of OUTMOST importance for the completion and success of the battle .... Well? You have to start, by the way, to grind slowly and build your light tank from scratch (i.e. stock). The game is not PAY TO WIN! (At least, this was what I thought in the beginning! ). But, THIS IS VERY EASILY FIXED by putting SIMILARLY BUILT opposing tanks to the MM. For example, stock tanks with 3 perk crew, first level equipment (i.e. not bonds, bounties, e.t.c.), TOGETHER. And the overpowered tank builts (i.e. 7 crew perks, all bonds, all foods, e.t.c.), together. So? Would not that be more EVEN and JUST for all players? I have seen players starting with a Centurion 7/1 stock and were always, ALWAYS in Tier X battles, against tanks like 279s, Concept 1bs, T95/FV4201 Chieftain, e.t.c. How these player, will upgrade their tank, before becoming furstrated and giving up all together? Well?

Ordinary promotion from WOT tips !! (Haha 10000 Damage) you don't get 1/4th of what you see here in real game!!! These bastards have a modified mod for promotions to see they are still in the top ranks, what he shoots is a hit!! if a tank hits him.. then a rebound... I guarantee that you won't have it that way!! and it will be the opposite on mil. % and besides... don't buy premium or premium tanks!!! it's useless anyway, the server determines the damage,,..determines victory and defeat .. If you upload min Damage to the opponent, the server will automatically flip and give Victory/ if High damage to the opponent - it is automatically Defeat.. You have a tank of 8 levels and you are approximately at the bottom of the team or on the bottom team composition, stacked from level 10 = It's automatically a win because you have no chance to shoot down Level 10 that is: min. damage = victory.!!! If you are on the highest rungs in the lineup, e.g. team level 8 to level 6 , Automatically = high damage to the opponent and you automatically = Defeat!! Server. BLOCKS....visibility, enemy detections, opponent damage, you can just do whatever you want :D !! it's wasted money!! You actually have more losses than wins in the game!! Ask yourself another question.. how many times have you recorded what you see here? (it's easy to play if you're an admin with a good game mode!), and this thieving company gives replays like this every day ... they're just lying to you and fooling you it's a great game, waiting for you to adjust the game mode to the minimum so that you can put real money into it!! Also note that they offer only premium or 10 level tanks, where you have huge losses in the game even during premium, especially if you use gold-i (premium cartridges)!!! , for 1 battle minus up to 8-20,000 cash... if not more... wt.

Is it game rigging cheating when you upload your videos to KZfaq at like -75% speed? Holy crap either Claus has had several strokes and every thank in the game moves at half speed or something is fishy here. He blinks in slow motion FFS. Wath the videos at 1.5 speed and you will see real Claus and real game play. Anything to get those extra couple minutes for the Algorithm, eh?
