The Manila leg has always been home for first time in history of Amazing Race S5, yield introduced S25, final four in final race twist S32, City sprint and Memory Task which is usually at the final leg are included in the sprint

Considering the heated discussion on the fan sites about the alliance, if you ran the race again, would you try to form another alliance like this?

It entirely depends, there were a lot of factors that ultimately led to the alliance so it's entirely situational! We'd have to wait and see if that opportunity ever arises. :)

I followed the season pretty closely especially given the first leg was in my country Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹 You did your research and always believed in your strategy but most importantly seemed to enjoy the journey which counts for everything. Ever since I was following the rumors from November 10th, 2018, and saw that you two were on I was freaking out, I was so excited knowing that you guys were huge super fans of the race! In late November when I saw you guys were confirmed final three I was so ecstatic! Praying you guys take this home for the LGBTQIA+ community. I do have a few questions though. 1). Did production tell you that Yields were coming back or when you read the clue did you find out? Also, what was your reaction? 2). On RFF, someone heard Phil say, how did you feel when you got to the Yield on Leg 4 to Eswar & Aparna. We speculated that they were Yielded on Leg 4 is this true? 3). Were there any unaired places or tasks that you guys did? If so what were they? 4). Did you guys think that there were going to be 12 Legs, and not 11 after the mega leg? 5). What was a country you guys thought that you were going to visit or any countries that you didn’t visit that you really wanted too? 6). Have you guys gotten the call for TAR34 All-Winners? lol I hope you guys win!

Can you cover these topics in your next recap? Maybe it deserves a video of its own? 1) Sleep ... how much did you get and how did you manage throughout the race? You mentioned it a bit in the first few recaps but I think that it's such an important part of performance in general that it should be covered more for the entire race. 2) Eat/Drink ... how did you manage that throughout? The editing doesn't show this because of course, it's not an exciting part but it is crucial to performance. 3) What are the "rules" you have to follow in the race in general? Are you allowed to divulge or share those with your audience? 4) Weird departure times? Why leave for a train station at midnight or 1:00 a.m. when it only opens at 6:00 a.m. or so? What's the logic? Rules based departures? I'd love to hear more on these 4 points, if you can. You guys are the best team that I've seen playing The Amazing Race ... ever! I've watched it for a long time and I can't remember a team that deserved it more! Brilliant combo of social game + success in challenges. Perfect!

yup, agree. It's always a good strategy to get rid of physically stronger team (I don't really like it when those kind of team win; maybe because as a physically weak person it's just my mindset). don't really understand people's obsession with 'individual success'; maybe it's just an American thing (I'm Malaysian BTW). as for the alliance thingy, yes - it should be banned in the future (esp. during task); that would be interesting to watch. but for TAR32, I think there's nothing to hate about.

if im being honest from the start i wanted gary and deangelo to win. In the previous leg however, they should not have u turned esward and aparna because with the secret alliance the siblings were the only ones cool with gary and deangelo. They should have u turned hung and chee and then esward and aparna would have been top four so even if they beard bro's helped you 2 in the final challenge there would still be one more spot left for one of the 2. Other than that congrats and i think that you guys did very good in the race, Well deserved.
