There were a few that really had no business being in there. 2ndly, luck combined with rob/amber messing up is the only reason they weren't out then. Winning due to an opponents mistakes doesn't make you good. Obviously luck is a big part of the game. Objectively they aren't that good of a team.

This season has quite a lot of karmic retribution going on. Rob and Amber get eliminated when they start lying to Charla and Mirna. Dustin and Kandice lose the the people they Yielded for no reason (Technically twice). Oswald and Danny get the "Yield Karma" as well 'cause of the deal they made with Dustin and Kandice (Although it's actually not shown, Mirna actually did give Oswald a bit of money during the Roadblock that Charla and Danny were doing 'cause they were the close for the race).

That run in that Colin and Christie had with the cops probably screwed them out of any invites back. They damn near got arrested for refusing to pay a taxi fare.... That's just, not a good look if you are a producer of the show. No one wants to deal with a team willing to create a situation like that.

They were actually invited for the first All-Stars, except they couldn't go because Christie was pregnant.

The two being completely different games, they aren't to be played the same. That's why Natalie and Nadia were better received on Survivor than Amazing Race. I liked them on the race as they were strategic but once they got rid of competition they slumped big time. Thats probably why they did so well on Survivor

To be fair, both Rob and Amber got totally screwed that season, with Amber being voted out just due to Rob being on the season as well, and Rob got screwed by being put on a tribe with literally nobody who he could trust and work with.

@@aidanpfeifer5247 I fault Rob for it because he just can't help but exude his machismo all the time. I agree why Amber was voted out, but Rob was voted out solely because he tried to use his sheep strategy on people who actually have brains to take a stand against him (i.e. not Ometepe).

Adam and Sophie both confirmed in interviews/AMAs that the plan to vote out Rob was put in place before the immunity challenge, which was before the buddy system. Rob's downfall happened because he had nobody who he could trust on his new tribe, and that lack of trust wasn't Rob's fault. Adam betrayed him when he tried to vote out Parvati (as Adam has confirmed on Reddit that he and Rob were in an alliance with Parvati, Ethan, and Denise, so Adam betrayed his own alliance with Rob), so Adam destroyed the trust with him and Rob. Furthermore, Rob is on record stating on Michele's Instagram and his twitch that he actually wanted to work with Ben, and that he pulled him aside to get themselves on the same page to work together. However, Ben was too paranoid and refused to work with Rob. Plus, Ben was supposed to go at the Ethan vote, as it has been confirmed by Ethan and Adam that Ben was the original vote, so Rob shouldn't have had to worry about Ben. However, as previously stated, Adam screwed Rob over by turning on him (which made no sense by the way, as Adam is betraying numerous allies to save one person who nobody is really working with, and he would still have numbers against the old schoolers if he voted out Ben), so it is not Rob's fault that there was no trust with himself and Ben, and Ben shouldn't have been in the game at that point. Then, regarding Sarah and Sophie, there is no trust between them and Rob basically before they even meet, because Sandra had slandered Rob to the entire Dakal tribe, saying how Rob was super untrustworthy and a liar because he hadn't told her he was on the season (while there was a perfectly logical reason for this, as Rob has said he didn't tell her because he didn't want to pregame), so Sarah and Sophie are instantly going to be distrustful of Rob before he has even met them. Then, on Yara, you have Ben (who as I've previously stated, was somebody who Rob wanted to work with but Ben just refused to work with him, and who was someone who shouldn't be in the game at this point), saying the exact same stuff about Rob that Sandra was saying, which all but "confirms" that Rob is untrustworthy and is someone they shouldn't work with. Furthermore, Rob has every right not to trust Sarah and Sophie, because in his eyes, Dakal is after him since they voted out Amber and Tyson, the two people closest to Rob, back to back, which creates a huge perception that Dakal is trying to weaken and vote out Rob. Because of this, Rob has every right not to trust Sarah and Sophie, and Sarah and Sophie have every right not to trust Rob, which then makes it impossible for them to create strong bonds with each other due to unfortunate circumstances. Rob literally was screwed the moment he drew the Yara buff because he got put on a tribe with nobody who he could trust, with that distrust not being Rob's fault. Therefore, Rob is unable to create strong bonds with his tribemates and is a sitting duck. The buddy system was literally his last resort because he has no options at that point. Plus, the buddy system was not Rob trying to be controlling of Ben and Adam. It was him trying to create a game related scenario that would manufacture trust between himself, Ben, and Adam. What Rob was trying to do was showcase to Ben and Adam that he is putting all of his faith in them by not talking to Sarah and Sophie, which would be an act of trust from Rob to Ben and Adam. Then, if Adam and Ben do the same thing, thereby completing the buddy system, it showcases to Rob that they are putting faith in him, which would create a circle of trust between the three. This would then enable them to vote together, as they then would be able to trust each other. Rob's goal with the Buddy System wasn't him trying to be controlling over Adam and Ben. It was him using it as a last ditch effort to gain trust with them because he is screwed no matter what.

I noticed she got that side on the amazing race, right after she met rob. However, when you see her play in season 40 of survivor you can tell she just this super sweet mom. So I think it’s a little bit of rob rubbing off on her.
