I highly recommend this movie. I've watched many horse stories, but this one stands out. Great acting and a story of healing for Shannon the teenager, her mother and Max the old time horse trainer. The love of a horse, determination, patience, and a good team to train it can lead to a wonderful race at the last turn and the finish line in sight.

I lived my first 43 years of life in Pittsburgh. This girl was born at Allegheny General Hospital where I have birth to my only Son, now a US Marine. Used to frequent the Meadows often in my early adult years! Thank you for the upload! Great memories ❤️

@@pamelavance8753 He has played everything. A mild-mannered, soft spoken old professor to a mean SOB…an awesome believable pilot that saved the day to a scary Dr.. The guy is a great bad guy, but he is just as believable as a softy, good guy too. He is so versatile that he can play anything. I’ve been watching him at least twenty years. Love him.

A wonderful movie.🥰 How cruel people can be toward others and animals is unbelievable. I've experienced this personally by the way my 2 daughters ignore me. How can you mistreat someone or something that loves you so much in their heart..💔

Scapegoating? I've seen something similar with my younger siblings. Our mom died young, our dad had trouble coping with life. I was the one who was supposed to make everything right for everyone. I suppose I also got blamed for everything that went wrong. When I started carving out space for myself, things slowly got worse. That said, I wasn't always good at communicating what was bugging me. At some point, I should have said nothing at all and quietly walked away. Instead, I guess I turned myself into the bad guy or maybe they just had no more use for me. Here's the thing. Before my mother died, she sometimes felt the same way. And she said to me:"when I am gone, they'll wish that I was still here" (and feel guilt/remorse). Except, they didn't. Live your life for yourself, not pining for someone who won't give you the time of day, as they say. Humans are often really cruel. Don't let that destroy you.

Thank you for this great movie. Brought back some good memories of horse's when as a kid would go with my dad to the trainer to look how my dads race horse 🐎 was doing. This was in the late 60s and middle 70s.
