She has to leave her cushy home and loses her prize horse to stay with her gruff uncle, Sam. As Dani and her uncle struggle to bond, she's given an orphaned colt that is a different type of horse than she is used to training. Dani pours her affection into 'Stormy' and uses him to replace what's missing in her unsettled life.Through Stormy, Dani soon realizes that truly caring about others is the answer to most of life's biggest problems. When her uncle and friends need her the most, Dani and Stormy must work together to save the day and learn the true meaning of the word, 'family'.

I've watched this movie about 3 times ... Several months later, I'm recommended it on KZfaq, and immediately, when I see the thumbnail, I remember how the theme goes. -Even the theme is a fantastic composition! Every movie with Kevin Sorbo is worth watching - he's always doing an excellent job. 😃

Wow I just some of comments here. Is it true that Kevin Sorbo is not only an actor but also a producer here??? If so than I’m even far more impressed by this person and can see him in a whole new light for myself. That he cares about charisma, intrigue, beauty, meaningfulness and many more features of the movie! Fantastic and so worthy job indeed!!

Good movie.....and a good example of what greed does to people. It leaves them a hollow shell without love, humanity, empathy, or morals. Nothing else matters to them except for their greed. great family film. good acting, good story line, and best of all, all benefit. Rare to watch things being worked out and developed. Kristy Swanson does a great job as Dani. Boy can she give the teen-age look of disdaign for parental input. Wonderful, warming.

Funny how long its taken people to figure that mules are slower than horses because (like introverts) they're more thorough in consideration. It's nice to see what can be done when producers of movies return to basic Christian values and away from takkun olam.

I did not realize that Vanessa, Jordan's mother, was Sam Sorbo, (Kevin Sorbo's wife) until I read the credits. I have even met her in person, but she is like a chameleon in movies! What a great acting job! This was a heartwarming story and I really enjoyed it.

Such an amazing movie, this one. I noticed when Danielle Chuchrun starrs all actors look as charismatic as she always is!! I adore her films and her acting! She’s so natural! Kevin Sorbo has always been an admirable actor to me, I only remember him from Hercules sequel though))) Thank you thank you thank you for the upload!!! I enjoyed the plot a lot, I was kept in suspense all along and the horse scenes are also lovely especially the mule looks adorable:)

Chris Carson, that makes sense.😂 somebody on set had a sense of humor! That scene was so awkward and far out of place. I never saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I wouldn't have known.

Really cute…. Love her face, spoiled little rich girl @19:00 in is not hitting it off too well but have to agree with her on the hoarding inside that home. Her entire life has just been turned upside down at such a young age. She’s just lost the thing she loves most in life her horse. The behavior of the stepmother and her role as the female figure in the home has most likely been a huge negative influence in the past years. The fact she came in and began cleaning the kitchen right away was very nice.

At 20:00 minutes in, her first day in the home, there is a parenting example to be learned here… He’s allowing her freedom in her emotions, words, and behaviors while not becoming angry, or violent. It’s like he’s taking the just let her be for a few days and see how things go approach.

Omg ,. I have to see this movie a few more times,. I laughed , I cried, and can't believe that the dad was the little boy from E.T. and the other stars on here .... This is a great fukn movie and yes I'm home sick and miss my wife and daughter .... God left me all alone dealing with throat cancer and a stroke . I had to vent I give myself a few weeks and I'm probably gonna die in my apt from being lonely. Can't walk or talk ... And nobody cares or willing to help me. But thank you for making me happy for just a moment. Godbless
