Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte clear craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

Wow Gilly , this technique turned out so amazing the first one looked like a slab of granite with the beautiful navy blue veins going through it it was gorgeous!! For you all that are just getting to know this great artist will learn a lot from her stick around she is famous for her Gilly balloon kisses and rolls !!! I knew she wasn’t finish when she said I don’t want to ruin this with cells , I knew she was gonna but her final touch to this piece and give it her famous balloon kisses and look at the ending results of this gorgeous painting!!! You are a amazing artist Gilly , thank you for sharing all your little touches that adds the final life to your paintings !! I love the color choices you put together on this piece, it has been a amazing time you sharing all the new paints from mont monte , all the custom colors , so gorgeous paintings with all your customized colors!! Another painting from the past, and one of your best (and adding your balloon kisses, changed it but still beautifully done) 😊 I love hearing you talk, and having to nicely "scold" your puppies, as your voice is full of love for them. This painting came out gorgeous, and leaving it as it is, was a great choice! Whoever is receiving your "skins" is a very lucky person 😉 I started making pendants with skins and love doing it, but I don't have as many beautiful drippings as you do! Thanks for another "time away" with you and your videos 😊 as I start my days with you, Gilly....Thanks hon!! I appreciate you so much ❣

I was surprised that the other colors did not show up; but the navy really did the trick! It is really beautiful. I never would have thought of a figure 8 pour myself. Now I may try it. It reminds me of lightening strikes!

Well the cells changed things but the way you embellished with the balloon rescued the piece. That silicone seems to have a mind of its own. Great change

The two cup figure eight turned out amazing. The dark blue added the finishing touches to the piece. I am thankful you shared your talent with me.the balloon kisses and streaks added more dimension to the painting. I love the separate canvas also very pretty
