Hey guys!! Thank you for coming over to my channel. I have redone one of my older rolls recipe. I hope you enjoy it! Please don’t forget to subscribe and share my videos. ✨📝Recipe: 1/2 c. Warm water
1 Tbsp. Instant yeast
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1 large egg
1 1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. Sugar
3/4 c. Or 6 oz. of evaporated milk
1/4 c. Melted(cooled) or softened 🧈 butter
4-5 c. Flour( this will all depend on weather or flour you use)

Dear Laura lee, I just want to kiss you!!! I have tried so many dinner rolls over the past few weeks. I honestly did not want to try another recipe. I was unhappy with all of them. Whatever you and you sweet dad did was like striking gold girl! These were so delicious thar I did the dance of joy all alone in my kitchen. I am so very blessed to have your sweet comment!! ❤️😊 I am glad they made you dance 💃🏽 This was my nana’s rolls passed down and I just tweaked the recipe some because my Dad loved the way I would do them on thanksgiving and ended up making me make them every year since. I'm in the same boat..all the rolls I tried came out very grainy more like a medium thick bread than a soft gooey roll

@@faithfarmforever4795 so sorry to hear that. This is a family recipe and so many people fall in love with these rolls and have great results as in my comments . I even get requests to sell these rolls. But I know each individual has different results. You can give 20 people the same recipe but each will be different.My Dad use to say it’s all in the hand . But continue to never give up. I have different roll recipes and I am hoping that I will be able to post those. Bread usually sometimes has a mind of its own and I appreciate that you are here.

Awww! That really touched my heart in such a special way. It was my grandma’s recipe and he always made them after she has passed. This recipe is so special to my heart because it is a family recipe that has been passed down. I am so very thankful that your family enjoyed them as much as my family did. I've been baking my own bread for years. Just on special occasions. Then the pandemic hit and I was lucky I had a good stocked pantry lol! I am so sick of my recipes! Your video was the first and the last one I will ever watch! I am going to bake it as gifts for my adult children with honey butter! I actually made my bread along with you! Thank you so much! When I was a little boy my great grandma used to come stay at our house sometimes. Every time she visited , she would make yeast rolls and omg. My brother and I used to love them better than cake. Unfortunately she is no longer with us. So I decided to try and find the recipe and no one in the family had it. Happy holidays those rolls look delicious, I'm going to try your recipe mines is very similar and I have yet to use the full 5 cups of flour. 1 large egg 1 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. or 6oz. evaporated milk 1/4 c. softened or melted butter 4-5 c. flour 1/4 cup of warm water 1 satchet of yeast combine yeast, warm water, and sugar and let rise. When risen, add to mixing bowl and add liquids, egg, butter, and sugar. add flour half a cup at a time and mix. continue to add half a cup of flour until dough is a good texture and stir for 3 minutes. dough should be tacky cut pieces of dough and roll into ball and place into baking tray and allow to rise in warm area until it doubles in size (about an hour) bake at 350 F until golden brown (about 20 min)

This is THE BEST dinner roll recipe ever!!! I've tried many and this stands out as the easiest to follow, quickest, and most delicious one yet. The buns are fluffy and soooooo airy. I make two trays as I usually end up finishing off one tray all by myself. Love love love this and can't say it enough. Folks this is it.

When I make this recipe I only need 3 3/4 cups of flour in middle Indiana. I do mine by hand kneeling 5 minute only. Then rest for 30 minutes, then another 5 minute knead, followed by a 2 hour rise. Then I weighed out and form my rolls then let rise again for one hour minimum. I call them Papa Rolls because I feel your loss. Truly a SUPERB recipe.

I want to give you a HUGE HUG for sharing this recipe. It is hands down a Super Bowl, World Series champion of a recipe. I was looking for a recipe to try out before this Thanksgiving and gave this one a try. Well I think my husband loves you 😂. I know I sure do.
