They could’ve loaned me a truck but that is a process. I have to fill out a huge inspection checklist for damage, issues etc. not worth it for me. Other have done this though

I used to get my tanker washed at Cowboys tank wash in Sulfer Springs TX at least twice a month .

Damn you and your tank are light. Most I can net with stainless chem tanker and full fuel is 46,150.

No still inedible, sometimes I’ll run inedible palm oil or canola oil

I've always wondered, does Prime tell you where they want you to stop for gas? Or is it your call where and when you stop? I'm home with Laryngitis (one of the downsides of being a school bus driver currently) so I'm binging your videos and the Prime pre trip video. I think I've watched it about 12 times so far. lol. I can fuel and take whatever routes I want as a lease driver. 99% of the time I fuel where prime “recommends” because it’s always the cheapest routes. Cheaper fuel = bigger paycheck! Hope this help! 🤙✌️

Running the truck at 60 ain’t too bad. I’m averaging 8.51 mpg doing so. Any alternative route suggestions? Getting ready to run hooks to Verona this weekend and I hate taking 49 through Arkansas. Narrow roads and tight curves for like 2hrs.

I just rode my MC from SD to FL (over 2k miles) and I couldn't believe how fast L/O & O/O were driving. I was constantly getting passed while riding 75+ mph. I had to assume that freight rates were high and fuel prices low w/ how fast drivers were passing me.

Started with truckers path and bought Garmin DEZL 1010 thinking I could eliminate the diamond version of trucker path app which cost me $29.99 but imho garmin isn’t as good “imho” 👏 truckers path for the W. Wasted money on my garmin but it’s a solid back up now

is there ever a circumstance where your trailer axle would be a different weight than your drives? i was just thinking about that, because you cant slide the tandems on a tanker. but you pretty much always haul a liquid so the weight should be evenly distributed anyway

They could be slightly off in this case I would slide my 5th wheel either forward or backwards a slot.

Rex? I herd a rumor that pulling tankers with an auto trans is very hard on the auto trans. 1 Have you herd this and 2 is this what happened to your trucks trans. Thanks for the vid.

1st issue I’ve had but yeah I could see the surge causing an issue with these automatic trucks for sure. It’s under warranty so Freightliner replaced the transmission seal.

Last week I was in my bed 3X still made $2400 so not bad, usually out 7-10days then home for 2. Hope this helps

Hey Rex. How hard would it be to get picked up by Prime as a new driver trainee for the tanker division fresh out of a seperate CDL school? I'm gonna go to a local school at night so I can hold onto my job till I actually get a CDL. Is there a history of Prime hiring you promising you a tanker trainer and then ending up trying to get you to go, let's say, reefer instead?
