I remember when Sephora’s salesperson asked me to get a babysitter when I went to store to buy mascara and I had my little grandson in stroller. He was sound asleep. I love Ulta’s point system, too! Also I have gotten many damaged items from ulta secondary to poor packaging but their customer support is amazing. They replace items and I didn’t have to return damaged products! Occasionally I would send a pic! Love Super Shocks shadows and blushes by Colourpop , NYX bronzer also! Thanks Andrea for a great video! I just got a package from Ulta today (a Hempz Lotion, mini ND palette, and the Fenty Eaze Drop) and the lotion cap was smashed and there was Hempz lotion all over a Natasha Denona palette. There was also a broken shade in the palette. I don’t understand how Ulta can write off so many products instead of having better packaging. I only ordered for shipping because no Ulta by me has ND in store.

For nails, I'd definitely recommend the Kur pink illuminating nail concealer! It basically looks like "your nails but better." It gives the sheerest wash of pink that looks natural, but just makes me feel more put together when I don't have time or feel like doing the whole manicure+base coat+2 color coats+top coat. You just throw a coat or two on and your hands just look a litter nicer🙂

I would second the Londontown brand nail polishes. I’m a nurse and that’s the only brand that will last through 2 weeks of handwashing and sanitizing before it starts chipping. My holy grail polish. I usually get the polishes from HSN because they do bundle deals. I think HSN has a coupon right now too!!

Not available at Ulta, but I have been using DazzleDry for my nails since 2020. You may give it a try. Mine last for a minimum of 2 weeks, it dries within 5 minutes, and comes off with regular nail polish remover (no soaking). Not sure what magic they put in it, but I love and highly recommend.

Very helpful video, Andréa! It is overwhelming and you helped show how to narrow down our searches. Thank you for that. I think what you are doing with your hair looks great...not sure you need any more tools...just my opinion. I do my nails at home and highly recommend Lights Lacquer. They are a small brand and their polishes are very good and the brushes in the bottles are the best I have tried. Highly recommend them.

16:33 Indie nail polish is where it's at! Especially indie base and top coats. Cirque Colors has some amazing sheer nude polishes, and just about every other indie nail polish brand has AMAZING shimmers, flakies, and glitters if you are looking for something fun! I could talk about indie nail polish for hours 😅 I would recommends starting with Cirque Colors and KBShimmer if you are looking to dip your toes in. I think they'd be a great introduction to indies!

The Peach Slices azelaic acid is great for acne and post inflammatory erythema. The Ordinary’s azelaic acid pills like nothing else on me, so I picked up the Peach Slices one after hearing Kelly Gooch rave about it. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and haven’t had any issues with it!

I actually really love the Le mini macaron three in one step gel polish. I think it’s on sale and I think you can get a kit with a lamp on sale. It does not require a basecoat. I put on three very thin coats of polish and then you’re done. I like adding their shiny topcoat. I find that they last for, maybe a week to week and a half. you don’t really have to soak them because by that week and a half they just kind a lift and they come off without ruining your nails.

I did end up shopping the Sephora sale 😂 I was debating between the two but grabbed some new products from fenty and kosas and grabbed some new Sephora brushes and a few recommendations from other people on KZfaq. Now I do plan on doing some restocks at Ulta that are on sale, essence powder foundation and mascara skincare items, I’m moving at the end of the month from Florida to Illinois so I’m trying to stock up so I don’t have to stress about being out of something 😂

Also I feel like a very challenging but potentially popular video would be testing all the Essence mascaras. maybe photo comparisons, top 3 length, top 3 volume, top 3 curl...ranking(?) idk there are a ton of possibilities, including ranking them all or doing a tier list. whew I'm tired just thinking about it haha. I just feel like the same ones are always talked about. and personally I feel like a lot of them have to be basically identical. it feels like a big mystery haha

My Buttermelt bronzer came completely shattered because they put about 6 items in a large box not packed well and it slipped out of its bubble wrap and just jostled around. The replacement was sent in a padded mailer that my entire order could have fit in the first time and this was in tact.

I love the Body Shop hand sanitisers and they never leak as they have those snap top lids. They do some great fragrances - including strawberry! Btw No7 are a Boots brand that have been going forever in the UK. They do both makeup and skincare. Emma x

Hi, I'm generally more of a nail polish girl than makeup so I just thought it was funny that I ended up on a vid you asked for nail recs lol! Mooncat is kind of the brand to know right now, they are bit more pricey but if you are dipping your toes into interesting colors/ finishes I believe they've been winning awards like best of beauty type stuff (also a fave of mine). Holo Taco is in a similar category of nail fan faves. I dont wear a ton of cremes but my go to brands are ORLY for affordability, and Olive Ave have some of the most impressive / gorgeous colors. I could go on AND ON lmaooo. Hope this helps!

Ulta does need to fix their shipping ASAP! They were great, but lately the packaging hasn't been good. Customer service is good though & will replace no problem 😊 👌🏾

@AndreaMatillano I got the Shark Flexstyle about a year ago and I love it! My hair is curly and this is the only tool that gets me a nice blowout in less than 30min, and then I have the choice to style wavy, straight, whatever I feel like! I’m sure the Dyson is awesome, but I just couldn’t bring myself to paying the +$500 for it, so the Shark was the best option and I’d buy it again if I had to!! Hope that helps!!

I have naturally curly hair and have at this point mastered blowing drying with round brush and all that so the shark styled seemed just extra and unnecessary so I returned it 😒. Loved your video

I don't know why but for this 21 days of beauty it's probably the first one that I have bought the least I like it much better when we got the flyer and it told you daily for the 21 days I probably didn't buy a quarter of what I normally buy so I guess you could say I save some money LOL Now this Sephora sale was just the opposite for me so far I've went inside a store three times & ordered twice offline and I'll probably order again before it leaves us 😁🤣
