That glue is Definitely impressive I agree. Am I the only one who dud not see this coming ? I was cringing in shock over how much was carved away and Incredibly Impressed to see this vase ! Wowwwww ! @@MaskedReviews I too would love to know what was being used. I'm wondering if it was the activator for a two-part spray glue that we just didn't see the first half application for...because the pencils didn't stick to the jig when they were being glued into sheets.

I also agree with being extremely impressed by the glue!! If it’s proprietary to this woodcutter, he could make excellent money on that glue alone!

I've always been interested in turning and this was a great idea to use colored pencils. Great artwork! The colors are lovely and the yellow stripes add a little extra.. Few would believe what a vase is made of. Fantastic! You are clearly a very creative artist! Absolutely fantastic. The only downside is the long video, but it's part of the job description because it works great as an instructional video Thank you very much for the skills and creativity show! I wish the best for you and your future.

I can see both ways...no doubts that's an artwork and spend a very time doing this in other way...I think there are many kids just wish have 10 pencil colours of so many in these artwork...so I support both thinks. 😊😉

If you grease the inside of that stuff you wrapped around the pencils before you pour the resin it'll come off easier. You can use petroleum jelly.

Beautiful work! This isn't a critique of the artistry, because that's impeccable. I just have some questions on the technical side of the project: What kind of glue was that? Why not measure to get the turning axis centered? Why did you take the time to cut the pencils to different lengths? It looks like it didn't impact the finished piece.

the first time he stopped the lathe I was not expecting to see that design! Of course while it is turning at high speed it looks like it is just light colored wood. This is the most unexpectedly beautiful vase? I have ever seen!
