Шуруп забитый молотком держится крепче чем гвоздь завинченный отверткой. Факт.

Your workers are very skilled doing most of it by eye, but please, please clean the machine shop of wood chips. That is a huge fire hazard. I have seen several wood shops go up in flames due to excess wood dust and shavings. Not only would it be a risk to life but it would put you and your workers out of business and their families wouldn't have any income. Please look after them and you.

Wow! It's hard to watch a dwindling resource treated so poorly. Is the bar really that low there? I think the hammered in screws says it all perfectly.

Every single board used in any furniture around the world requires processing. A log comes into a mill freshly cut. The log is broken down into what’s called rough cut lumber. When you buy a 2X4 directly from the mill that’s the exact size. It’s then stored to dry or kiln dried. The board isn’t very pretty after all of that so it will need to be finished in a few different machines. They are twisted, bowed and very rough textured before all that. That’s the machines you see chipping the wood in the beginning. After all four sides are finished it’s needs to be cut to length. Now it’s ready to build with. All those chips and sawdust don’t go to waste either. They are used for several things, including fuel to heat and run equipment, and even combined with other components to make fiber and chipped boards and even used as food for growing new trees. I’m not sure where you are from, and honestly I don’t care, it’s none of my business. But this is almost exactly same way wood products are made globally. I think this is a whole lot better than the single use plastic crap that sewing machines have been sold and stored in for half a century. And probably much more affordable! You want to make a difference? Go collect garbage on the side of the road or in the ocean. Use your time to actually help instead of being a KZfaq eco activist commentary…

I believe those “screws” are actually what the aircraft industry call PK screws, they don’t really have threads, they have ribs so they are forced in the hole and when they try to come out, they pull the material and tighten the hole against them. Not sure what the slot is in them, maybe for decoration?

@@cuttersgoose If you pause and zoom in then sharpen the image you can see the threads and the flat heads.

@@rafiqkatana what’s the dwindling resource you are referring too? How is it being mistreated? What bar are you saying this work isn’t up to? Why does it matter to you so much that you think it’s worth your negativity? Are you the buyer? I watch stuff like this to see the different ways people around the world go about creating things. Seeing how things are made without the technology and robotics. I’ve even attempted to try and use my bare feet to help me while building things( I failed, but I tried). If I had to choose one of these cases that provides a job for several people, or a mass produced version that may only require one person to watch it all be built by a machine. I’d choose this. But, I would want that money to be earned by people in my own country. I would also really prefer to have one built a century ago instead of brand new. Yes, this could be made to a much higher standard. It would also require better materials, more refined tools and skill. Which would raise the price substantially. It would also use more and create more waste of those “dwindling resources” you speak of. Either way, best of luck to you.

Зачем им столько крышек для швейных машин? Они похоже ещё в середине 20 века живут и одежду сами себе шьют.

Так и есть. До сих пор делают достаточно примитивные ручные швейные машинки и шьют одежду сами.
