My buddy bought the same machine a while back, I have it here to try out some. We have only run it for maybe 45 minutes so far but I find it works well even on 110. I love the pilot arc it made it easy to figure out how to get cutting for us guys that had never run a plasma cutter before. I have used a cutting torch but didn't realize that the plasma cutter was similar to that.

Is it worth buying?

Bought the same one. Definitely need to run it up to 50 amp and 60 psi for .25" steel.

I bought the same one. I agree, short ground. My problem is also a short power cable when trying to cut stuff away from my 220 outlet. I’m making an extension cord for that though. On 110 it cuts light gauge 16-20 gauge fine. My problem with that is not the machines fault but all my 110 outlets are only 10 amps so the machine trips the breakers. The cuts I have been able to make so far are good and no complaints.

I have a QUESTION -----> I have the same cutter and i am wiring by shed but can only get 30 amps in there SOOOO I want to put in a 220volt 30amp outlet but use a 50amp outlet so the cutter will just plug in without the 110 adapter ?? Any thoughts ???

How is it after a few months? I just ordered one. Annoyed the short ground but rather that than the 110 to 220 adapter on some other ones on amazon. I have 220 in my shop and will only be using it on that.

I too have 220 and honestly would recommend running it on 220. As far as a few months out….well I’m having an issue with the pilot arc but the seller is working with me on how I correct it. The gave me a fix but I’ve also found another person with the same issue that found a different fix. Once I get time I will do another follow up video

We bought one made two cuts and then the OC LIGHT COMES ON STOP CUTTING AND YOU CAN SEE IT ARCING INSIDE Pulled front cover of and it’s arcing between two metal tabs on the circuit board. Any idea?

Actually this same thing happened after a few cuts also. I spoke with the seller and this was their reply (it fixed the issue but proceed at your own risk): “it should be that the discharge nozzle inside the machine needs to be widened. The operation is as follows; 1. Disconnect the power 2. Open the cover 3. Find the location of the discharge nozzle 4. Adjust the distance between the two small iron pieces a little bit wider Since there will be residual electricity inside the cover, for safety, please ask an electrician to assist”

What’s the minimum compressor ratios you think will work with this? I have a 10 gallon, 175psi, 1.5 horsepower
@jcorley50932 жыл бұрын
I run it at 60psi fed from a 60 gallon 155psi compressor. Depending on how long you cut will determine how quickly you spend your air. I don’t make long cuts so it takes a while until my compressor starts up. At 10 gallons you will run your compressor more but on small cuts you should be OK
