Video Description:
In this video, I will teach you how to sign-up for Amazon Associates, how to get accepted into Amazon Associates, and how to create an Amazon Affiliate Marketing website. First, I will go over Amazon Associates and some of the basic information you will need to get started. Then, I will show you some best practices for choosing an affiliate marketing niche. You need something to promote and there are so many different categories to choose from. After that, I will show you how to find the best website host, how to choose a domain name, and how to create a WordPress website.
Once you have your website created, I will show some basics when it comes to design and branding. After that, I will go over some of the most popular WordPress plugins that you can use to get the most out of your website. You will need to start with WooCommerce and WooZone aka Wzone, which is the Amazon Affiliate Marketing WordPress plugin. Once you have those plugins installed and you are accepted into Amazon Associates, you can start importing products directly from Amazon to your WordPress website. That will allow you to create an Amazon Affiliate store directly on your website.
One of the most important parts of the video is doing keyword research, creating a content strategy, creating a keyword content map, and how to create a weekly strategy for content creation and promotion.

Picking a niche is the most critical part... and trust me, it's not easy and even people who are well experienced pick too difficult and/or low margin niches. DO NOT over simplify or hurry through picking a niche.

Thank you for your hard work! One suggestion: Could you use a pop filter for the microphone? The pop sounds get tiring after a while and are even more pronounced when playing back at higher speeds.

I do use a pop filter in front of my microphone, but I recently purchased a better microphone so I'm going to start using that one soon. I will do some sound testing before my next video to try to improve it because I don't like the pop sounds either when listening to podcasts/videos.

Hello. Thanks for all the information you expose here. They are a real treasure and if I had found them 3 years ago I would have had an easier time with setting up a site as an affiliate on Amazon. And I definitely would have earned a lot more than I do now :) But even now it is not too late, and thanks to the information on this channel about Amazon, I want to rebuild my site according to your advice. It depends on the niche, but I've had the most success with Pinterest and Instagram. If you create videos, then KZfaq and Facebook can be great as well. For news/sports you can drive some traffic using Twitter. For the example I used in this video with golf, I would try using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and KZfaq. Since my websites are mostly in the home decor niche, Pinterest and Instagram are perfect for them.

As you are in the European Union, you should be able to sign up to any amazon marketplace. I am starting my own website in Portugal and have no problems with the account setup. All bank accounts in the Eurozone can receive payments.

Could you show the setup of the optimization plugins? So that they are set up properly and don't break each other? I mean Autoptimize, WP-Optimize, and WP Fastest Cache (I think you are using that one). They all do caching. Why does that work?

I just learned that Autoptimize doesn't cache pages but rather the css+js files that it works on. So that caching in Autoptimize is misleading and turning on caching in WP-Optimize has a huge impact. Still wonder how that works in combination with WP Fastest Cache.

I know that Google Advertising isnt discussed in this video but I wanted to clarify something for those of you interested in promoting their Amazon affiliate site using Google Ads. In this video example, you wouldnt be able to promote these golf products in Google Ads by their brand name. This would be a trademark violation and your ads would be taken down. So for example if you had this golf site and you created an ad advertising a great price for a Callaway driver it would be a trademark violation to have the brand name 'Callaway' in your ad copy. This makes it really challenging creating and promoting an Amazon affiliate site. And this is why Corey here is promoting generic products like farmhouse or wicker furniture instead of brand name products.

It is safe to import products and you shouldn't have any issues as long as Amazon accepted your website into their program. I would recommend creating new and relevant content because it will help with your website growth as well.

When I log into my amazon associates account I don't see any access key IDs created. Is that because my affiliate account is new/still being reviewed/approved by Amazon? I’m not sure if they let you when the account is still being reviewed, but you can import products without API keys now using the No PA API keys import through the WooZone plugin - I’m planning on updating this video in the next month or so and creating an ongoing series with a new website.

You can apply to Amazon Associates with just a KZfaq channel. If you make a website, you can add the website through your account settings and you can create unique tracking IDs for your KZfaq channel and website. You don't need to re-apply. For Google AdSense, you just need to add all of the websites or KZfaq channels once you are approved. As long as your website and KZfaq channel don't break any rules in their Terms of Service you shouldn't have any problems adding more properties.

What budget is enough/minimum to get started? Also, any other affiliate website to use with this tutorial? - my country is not in the list

The costs in the video were under $1,500 to get started, but that was with a dedicated hosting plan for 1 year. You can get started for much cheaper with a VPS hosting plan. It's hard to replicate this exact video without an Amazon Associates account. If you are looking for the best affiliate networks, CJ Affiliate, ShareASale, and Awin are all great options as well.
