Amazon Delivery in South Philadelphia, Day in the life
What's up you guys. SO, we've been in South Philly for a few weeks now. I wanted to get a little bit used to it first before I made a video. Here is a little look at what that's like...and I won't lie, it's tough ya'll. Delivering/Driving out here is hard. The streets are so tight and you have to walk every stop which by the way, are all group stops.
Some of the area we do -- Grays Ferry, Girard Estates, Rittenhouse Square, Center City, Washington Square, South Street, Queen Village, Graduate Hospital etc...

Hey Kristen, love the videos! Delivering out in the country is the worst because there are mostly all the roads are dirt gravel roads, lots of potholes on the dirt roads, stops are spread out, snowy conditions suck, dot take forever to plow all roads and finally the houses are mostly far away from the actually road itself.

God Bless You and Be Safe... Im from Jersey / South Philadelphia... Atlantic City Expressway. My Mother is from NWK, father from 23rd Street. Grew up Between the Two and NYC since my mother was a very successful fashion model. It was Great and Very Dangerous at the same time.

A tip i learned is when your struggling to go uphill you just smash the gas pedal as hard as you can 😅

No… Do not run lol. I stay still when a dog charges at me and they just seem to circle me like a shark… then they figure out I am not a threat and back off

Amazon pays like crap but you can get high LOL FedEx and UPS or any DOT CDL job don't play that.

Amazon pays better than Fed Ex for sure now. I thought Amazon starts their drivers with 18 or 20 dollars an hour in most areas

@@armathis2647 Nah FedEx contractors will give you more dependable hours and you can move up to a CDL job, UPS union after you make it is double Amazon. Without a doubt Amazon DSP contractors are the worst of these jobs. If you're driving for any length of time and don't work toward a CDL you're just a tool.
