In this video, I will be explaining the 3 shipping methods available for Amazon Sellers - Self Ship, Amazon Easy Ship, Amazon FBA.
When it comes to Amazon Shipping Methods EasyShip vs Amazon SelfShip vs FBA is probably the most asked question. Which one to choose, which one is better?
Mostly Sellers don't opt for self ship, specially in the beginning, due to all the hassles involved. However Amazon Easy Ship vs FBA is still a tough choice. Both have their own merits and demerits.
👉 Amazon Self Ship
✅ Seller ships the products to customers on their own using 3rd party courier services like Blue Dart, DTDC, Indian Post or local service providers.
✅ End to end seller's responsibility to ship orders on time, track shipments, handle returns and provide customer service.
👉 Amazon Easy Ship
✅ Amazon provides the end-to-end shipping logistics and customer service for products stored in seller's own warehouse.
✅ Seller has to keep the order packed and ready for shipment as per Amazon's Easy Ship Guidelines. (Watch video for Easy Ship Guidelines)
✅ Amazon will pick the order from your warehouse and deliver to the customer. It will handle the returns as well. All other aspects like customer service etc is seller's responsibility.
👉 Amazon FBA Shipping Method
✅ Hassle free processing of orders - You store your inventory in Amazon's warehouse and Amazon picks, packs and ships your orders, handle returns and also provide customer service.
Each of these have their own pros and cons or benefits and drawbacks. Which one is better for you depends on multiple factors:
✅ Your particular circumstances,
✅ Type of products,
✅ Whether you are a new seller or old,
✅ How many orders you are getting per day,
✅ Cost of products

Understand the differences and the costs involved in each type of shipping method and then take an informed decision before you start selling on Amazon.
Also, Self ship, easy ship and Amazon FBA are not mutually exclusive. You can be using all 3 at the same time for different products.
Example, you can use Amazon FBA for your high volume orders and use self ship or easy ship for new products. Also, there are locations where Easy ship does not provide service, there you can choose to ship using the self ship method if you can tie up with a 3rd party courier service for that location.
Just make sure to factor in the costs involved in each of the shipping methods. Don't assume that Amazon FBA is good or Easy ship is good.
