Worth buying for sure. I think it is quite affordable as well with the kind of features it has and good use of Mediatek chipset as well.

Just got this in the 43” for my bedroom and with some adjustments to the default picture, I’m quite impressed. Great picture in SD and HD, decent sound for a small room, good with gaming and amazing use of Alexa, hands free. I love this tv. No regrets on getting it as my bedroom tv.

Wrong choice. You should have gotten the Pioneer one as it is the best TV brand and also got way superior contrast over Omni TV. Also, a bit cheaper. ^^

I’m a little confused I’ve seen several vids for Amazon TV and in a couple it’s just a box with a USB that is bigger than Fire Stick they must be old vids

Tried using a USB drive to view a Power Point video. The tv said the usb was not formatted for tv and did I want to format it. I thought after allowing the tv to go ahead and format the usb I would be able to take it back to my pc and recopy the video. After allowing the tv to format the usb, my pc now will not recognize the usb.

The wired eye is likely because they know that many people will not use it due to it being voice activated, removes that entirely. Also, my current tv, if I cover the red power light with a piece of black tape, makes it impossible to use the remote, so that wired eye, makes it so you can block the red light; so it doesn't hinder sleep, or annoy in other ways, whilst still using the remote.

Good video, you don't rant very much which I find is an issue many other reviewers do. I bought the 75" model today for $749. Looking forward to receiving it. I have a 7.1 surround sound system that I'll be connecting to, so with this big tv and 7 physical speakers all around me: hopefully this will be a great experience!

I just order the 43" one, been a bit worried. I've seen a few videos that said "if you're gamer you might not care much for the Omni" claimed input lag was a bit bad.

If you use a regular bluetooth controller it will have some input lag, But the Omni controller is a Cloud controller so connects directly to the cloud gaming servers, its suposed to be almost lag free and largely any lag will be due to streaming the game which can be improved by hard wiring the tvs internet.

It's only on pre-order here in the UK But Currently its £300 off the final retail price for the 65" model, so it's £699 instead of £1000 ive pre orderd and i cant wait to try it out, Its replacing my 42" TLC 😂

A lot of people say "You can get a better TV for $100 or $200 more". But they don't realize that a big appeal for these TVs is that Amazon lets you do payment plans. It would take me forever to save up $1,000 but I can get this $800 Amazon TV right NOW for $50 a month.

I know it's been 7 months, but I have the 65" in my room at the moment. This mofo is BRIGHT I love it. It definitely suffers in sound quality, but I bought mine on Prime Day for $500 so I won't complain

How far are your eyeballs from this tv in the room shownplease bro? Real question. My eyeballs will be at 13 feet from mine and I fear it’s too small. Price is right though!

I really wouldn't think so. I'm 11.5' away and it seems immersive and ideal. With the wall mount I installed I can bring the TV to within 10' or so if I thought I needed to. *I bought this 65" TV to replace my relatively new 75" Samsung that somehow was damaged in-transit during a recent move. When the dust settled as to my reconciling the loss of the 75" TV I also realized that it would have overwhelmed the bedroom. It's a fine balance to get the right TV size to the allotted space.

I don't know if they changed the Omni series since this video came out, but my Omni 65" has one HDMI 2.1 port and three HDMI 2.0. Not four HDMI 2.0 ports

@@Kiwi-bf7bh Honestly, I am not quite sure I have a discerning eye. I do however very much enjoy the TV. It has multiple settings you can select from, so for example with my last television if I plugged my laptop into it there would be horrendously noticeable input lag. When I first hooked my laptop to the TV I encountered the same issue and I was mortified that my purchase would be a flop, but switching it over to the game setting completely removed the input lag (well, as much as can be expected from an $800 TV). I definitely consider the purchase to have been worth it. if you decide to purchase the TV I hope you feel the same.

Hi...Nice review of your Omni. Many naysayer reviewers of the Omni claim hat it is a poor set, with terrible HDR brightness and just an awful set in general outside of its Alexa features. What do you think? Please inform. Why? I'm considering getting the 75" version and thumbs down reviews make one doubt if purchasing it is a mistake. Thanks! Peace...✌♐

Got a 65" one, died after 6 months, I could see the screen becoming darker and darker to the point where nothing shows on the TV anymore, no menu, nothing! + This TV has the most annoying absence of function : It doesn't remember what is the last HDMI inpput you used.. so even if you only have 1 device attached to it, everytime you'll need to reach for the remote and "tell it" to go to HDMI 1.. kills me! Can't recommend..
