You are right about the privacy settings. I had no idea they were on by default. Some much data traffic for these devices is bad news. This is true even for fire sticks. Turned off all data in privacy = faster response times

@@buddaflyfx yes, but no. It doesn't always get stuck in apps anymore. But when you turn it on it will load whatever was the last app/source you were using prior to turning the tv off, even if you you are on the home screen when you turn it off. ie I watched KZfaq, go to home screen, shut tv off. Next time I power on it'll auto load KZfaq. And it still has the problem that in listening to music on Plex, it will shut down and crash at exactly 5 minutes into a song. I've given up. I'm ordering a new TV this week.

I just picked it up for $580 delivered to room of choice, after doing deep dive I'm hoping I don't regret it lol. If I don't like it I'm probably going to return it within 30 days and try out a Hisense U7H.

@@HiHoSilverAway76 so long story short I’m gonna keep it but here’s some caveats I have. I’ve experienced the slow down and the restart people were talking about the first couple of days I had it,they rolled out an update about a week into me owning it and so far it seems to have fixed the slow down. It’s only restarted once since the update. but that is really annoying for their highest end models of tv to even deal with that but I guess that’s early adopters problems. I’m new to the smart appliance stuff so the built in Alexa controls are really slick and I find myself using it more then I thought, with that being said though you could easily add those features with a fire cube or whatever the new ones are to any tv you own. The picture quality is good for the price IMO , especially if all you are gonna do is stream Netflix, I didn’t see the blurring people were talking about when watching sports watched football just fine , just remember it’s not 120hz screen. For what I paid ,$550 ($584 with tax) shipped with room delivery I would get it again. If you start getting higher up in price I would probably go with the hisense.

It's $550 right now. For that price it's a good buy. I prefer the Hisense U7H.

@@franciscomedinav its still not worth it based on the terrible reviews. I posted this nearly 3 months ago and reviews have only gotten worse. seems to be a 50/50 chance whether this tv will work properly as advertised. Amazon keeps cutting the price for a reason.

Cause they know its a below par tv packed with features that won't save it. It's getting released in the UK next month but I'll pass. Rather get a Samsung instead
