I am an Athiest Hindu, and the beauty of this religion is that nobody in my family ever questioned my faith. They never forced me to do something that I never wanted to, except for getting an engineering degree😂. On the other hand when I talk to a Muslim guy, he will not bring religion in Daily conversation. But just when he thinks that I am open enough he will bring all the good that his religion has and how Hinduism is false. I mean why can't they live their life happily. Why Muslims are so into religion as if by converting someone they will get Amazon loyalty points. Why?

Christians and Muslims did to Hindus of India what early Europeans did to Native Americans. Only difference was that Native American civilization were a much smaller population and loosely bound, while Hindus had already had massive empires. So, survival rate was more. Also those doubting peaceful nature of Hindus should answer this - Why is that out of 7 religious minorities of India (Jain, Buddhist, Parsi/Zoarastrians, Sikhs, Jews, Christians, and Muslims), only Christians and Muslims have a problem with Hindus ? Even non-Indic faiths like Jews and Zoarastrians are at excellent terms with Hindus. Another point is I often see Muslims asking - why is that India still has ~79-80% Hindus if such large genocide carried out ? They gloss over : heroic resistance of Hindus + Original "India" was from Afghanistan upto Myanmar. About 40% of original Hindu homeland of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and pockets of current nation-state of India is lost to Islam.

My first intro to islam :-me being 7-8 years old enters a tailor shop with my dad to collect sm clothes and listens to a guy on radio speaking loudly "naam rahega allah ka, kafiro ka naamo nishan mita denge, jo sar allah k age na jhuke use katna hoga" and yeah all i knew at tht age abt religion was, fine we can worship any one out of our choice and worshiping one dsnt offends other one like woshiping shiva n vishnu but this gave me a hateful view foward ppl with beard and caps🙄

Anyways, one thing I wanted to mention here is the doctrine of Ghazwa-e-Hind which is Prophet Mohammed's prediction that one day, the Caliphate army will strike India and Islamize the entire country... This is a doctrine listed in the Sunni Hadiths and hence, applies to only Sunnis... It should be noted that many among the Sunnis consider the attack of Mohammed Bin Qasim in the late 7th century on Sindh, India (now in Pakistan) as the culmination of Ghazwa-e-Hind and they no longer look forward for a day when the Caliphate will attack India. Although, unfortunately, there are many who do look forward for an attack on India especially the Sunni clerics of the Wahhabi and Salafi schools.. The adviser to the government of Pakistan on Islamic theology once said that the national goal of Pakistan should be to serve as Barracks for the Caliphate army when it finally strikes India. He said that Pakistan should put all its resources including human resources to become the barracks instead of concentrating on economic and social development. This terrifies most Hindus and is one of the primary reasons why they are always on the defensive when it comes to Muslims from Pakistan... The Indian Muslims have their Islamic culture completely syncretized with that of Hindu Dharmic culture and are as peace loving as anyone can get... However, there is a lot of influx of money and preachers (read Zakir Naik) from rich countries (read Saudi Arabia) who want to break this fabric of peace and ensure the end of the most popular non-Abrahamic religion in the world i.e. Hinduism. We Hindus should not be reactionary and violent but should still be aware of the threats posed by certain sections of Islam.

I am Jewish and the only religion I respect other than Judaism is Hinduism. We also have a bad history with Islam, but not as bad as with Christians, which always prosecuted us. Jews don't proselytise others just as Hindus.

When a group claims to have a monopoly on "the Truth" then it no longer is a productive belief system... it is purely ego. Once a person of any background subscribes to their ego rather than unconditional love darkness prevails. This what we see in the world. There are people of all faiths who oppose these sentiments and unfortunately they are the ones you don't hear much about. Once the world realizes that all rivers ultimately lead to the ocean, only then can we really begin to appreciate and learn from one another.

Hindus are from India mainly, now in India where ever Muslims are in Majority they make living hell for Hindus but in places Hindus are in majority Muslims live without any fear. I do however would like to make a point with regards to Islam, because I felt that you were a bit harsh with regards to it. This is not your fault but I think as you mentioned do not know many Muslims or did not have the chance to read thoroughly about it. First; of all Islam as a religion does not force anyone to follow it and this of course is mentioned in the Quran on several occasions, in fact it urges Muslims to live with other faiths and maintain social coherence and stability at any cost. The very meaning of the word Islam is to surrender willingly . Second; you mentioned the Jizya practice or the '"Tax", historically at that time this form of payment was practiced to rebuild societies governed in that area and by the way everyone benefited from that whether it was a Muslim or not .Also; This Jizya was not mandatory to those who can't pay, aid is given to him and that was mandatory . Third, Islam was spread in the region of India and east Asia through merchants working the trade route not by the sword contrary to your perception, and if Muslims were barbaric as mentioned by the people commenting on your post then Europe would have not have benefited from the scientific and social science revolution that Islam contributed.I am a Muslim, I do have friends from different faiths, I was taught to respect them understand there needs when asked and aid them at all times. But I do hate the concept of stereotyping Islam as the religion of blood and hatred to fulfill a political agenda or goal. coming to this video as someone who has a diverse group of religious friends which have never argued with eachother... i could never imagine seeing any of what the threats in this comment section discuss. i have made amazing friends before of every religion and at most our talks religion related just talk about what we believe. I am a Hindu from North East India. To me, Hindu never teaches to hate others. Rather, we are taught to love and respect others including animals and natures. Hindus core of concept is "Non-Violence" to others. Since the past 1500 years, Hindus have been encountering violent Islamic groups who's basic ideology is to jihad people and to spread and impose Islam on others in a very brutal violent way. During the last 1000 years, more than 46,000 Hindu and Buddhist Temples had been destroyed by Muslims, millions of Hindus Books had been destroyed and imposed Islam. Such act of violence is still prevalent in Islamic activities. Hindu King Vikramadiya once ruled Arabs for long time. He did not ruin even a single Muslim Religious places or institutions. This is absolutely on the contrary to Muslims. Please see how lakhs of hindus have been killed and forcibly converted into Islam in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc. Lakhs of them had fled into India as refugees. When Muslims live as minority in any country, they will be peaceful to others, When their population becomes 30%, they will start jihadi acts and will slowly try to destroy others to form Islamic nation. History proves it. In any Muslim dominated areas, even in my remote village areas, we the non muslim people always find troubles.

As Muslim. I believe in freedom of choice of religion. I also believe the consequences of this choice will come in the afterlife. But I do not recall any Muslim teachings that direct Muslims to force others to convert. But to warn them of the consequences of their choice in the afterlife.

What is most worrying is the manner in which The Other religion (in this case, Islam or Christianity to a lesser degree) is judged by its worst elements, while My Own Religion is seen from its best side. I find it quite strange sometimes after reading comments here, that Hinduism (Sanatan Dharma) is the only faith which understands there are multiple ways to reach God through different spirtualities. Then why can't some Hindus, Muslims & Christians stop dwelling on the past & accept that conversions occurred but we are still Indian. I just thank God always for being INDIAN FIRST and that's it. I wish God judged me based on me being Indian rather than religion. If God asks me whats your religion I will Gladly reply: ONLY INDIAN! One Thing I have seen. There are some hindus who do not mind going to mosques(darghas) to pay their homage. However I am yet to see some muslim visit a temple to pay their respect. This just shows the level of tolerance they have towards other faiths.

Hi I am an American Egyptian. I love your channel. Having been born and raised in the US around hindu friends from school and what not, I honestly never thought about hatred towards my friends. That is not how my parents raised me. I do however as an adult see it now. For my work I often have to go to people"s homes many are hindus and they are intimidated at first. It takes them months for them to be comfortable around me. I cant say I blame them. Anyway I know that sometimes its hard esp. When there is historical baggage to be open to others.
