@@ajazbhat2567 muslim demands were unreasonable in 1947, and is validated by split of Pakistan 1971 when east and west pakistan couldn't live together. so asking for hyderabad or junagadh which has no land boundary with pakistan is madness. Also Pakistan broke the standstill agreement with Maharaj Hari Singh, and so the king of Kashmir chose to accede to india for his own independence and safety and freedom of his people. So Pakistan has no rights on it, and better it focus on its own people and country. Pakistanis should be happy they have a country of their own however bankrupt or unlivable it is. Indian muslims are glad they didn't make the mistake in 1947!!

@@ajazbhat2567 well you can justify it whichever way you want, and I can do the same... but Pakistan has no legal and moral right on Kashmir...more so as it hasn't been able to take care of its own people in Bangladesh and has sponsored terror and bloodshed in Kashmir including crimes on nonmuslim pundits driving them out of their homes in the name of islam. Not to mention the # of agreements abandoned and wars with India. So pakistan is an unreliable neighbor and India will deal with it and its own claims on Kashmir the way we deem fit. Pakistan only understands power and force and they will get another lesson from India. Bangladesh is peaceful for last 50 years, while Pakistan is mired in chaos and terrorism. The future of Bangladesh is what India would ensure for Kashmir. So pakistan better learn to deal with and correct its own stupidity.

@@ajazbhat2567 i don't blame Pakistan for their sins... they are getting what they sow... its called karma...India is growing stronger and more united with a stronger economy and global standing on a daily basis while Pakistan continues to sink into a hole with huge debt burden, collapsing economy and failed government. Its an example of how a democracy SHOULD not be run...under the thumb of the army and ISI. Anyway they will collapse in their own contradictions...you wait and watch... you will be happy that India didn't abandon kashmir and kept its promise to the Kashmiri King who wanted kashmir to be a part of India.

Instrument of accession was signed by Maharaja and Pakistan agreed to resolve all issuse under Shimla Agreement. This implies very clearly. Both government s will sit on a table and discuss modalities of transfering POK back to us. Sir Creek etc etc all will fall in place.

It has been brought in a book that the draft of the instrument of succession was prepared on 27th October , in Srinagar and sent to Mountbatten on the same day, in Delhi, was approved by him on the same day and sent back to Srinagar. It was then officially issued by the Maharaja on the same day. In those days, was it physically possible?

HArisingh has signed the Standstill agreement with pakistan ( If u need i can send u scanned copy of harisingh & Jinnah , it is available on google also ) . Who has given supplies , weapon to tribal peoples . who has ordered the tribal people to attack Kashmir 2. Which army Regiment was there along with Tribal People. 3. Instrument Accession is not signed under pressure from harisingh . If india has evil thought in its mind , India could have taken over kashmir like junagadh , Bhopal . But india has worked on ethical principles which pak has not honored from its birth till date Aamen

The speaker comfortably forgets to mentions that the UN resolution was non-binding and is advisory in nature. Whereas Indian Independence act, 1947 is a legislation and its provisions are legally binding. Hence, instruments of accession is the legal basis of Jammu and Kashmir's accession to India.

As long as so called referendum doesn't happen, whole J&K is integral part of India as the princely state had acceded to India...what's so confusing about it?? . Pakistan should vacate those territories so that India can organise referendum at an appropriate time... But Pakistan refuses to do so, and then cry that world doesn't listen to them...

Sir. You were not made foreign Secretary. You were abruptly transfered from Germany to India. You had great personal vengeance against PM Nawaz Sharif. You took full revenge on Mr Sharief by ensuring peace progress between the two neighbors were totally derailed. You will agree Foreign Secretary talk in Islamabad was cancelled after you did not accept our request ;not to meet Hurriyat leader. Sir. . We are neighbours. We have to live in peace. A person of your position could have done so much. You towed your independent line ;and not your govt (Nawaz Sharif's )policy of forward engagement. Your tenure here was total stand still. You played in hands of your defense Forces , who never want peace with us. Sir. My comments are not personal but a genral observation of how peace opportunities was murdered between two great nations.

Sir. We Indians must also thank you for your help in abolition of article 370 and 35A.You had isolated Pakistan with India. You failed to toe your government line. Any policy is dynamic and change as per time. If Nawaz Sharief and Modi was given an opportunity they would have solved Kashmir issuse. Your contribution to Stalmate where you ensured Pakistan was not represented and hard line instructions of your army further isolated two neighbors and India rightly erased 370 and 35A.thank you. ok. jb kashmir ki accession so called thi to " baluchistan ka to khud 2 page ki copy hai jisme sign bhi alag alag date me hai. jo khud chutiya hai wo dsre ko chutiya kaise samjh sakta hai. sab baat ki ek baat " india ki ab clear policy hai whole kashmir including gilgit baltistan is part of india. baatein sirf pok ki hai tm 1000 saal chillate rho koi fark nhi padata
