It's crazy how much this island evolved. From a meh/bad-ish island, it kept on improving with amazing additions such as the quints, and now it's amazing. Starting with a small 6 batch of monsters, went to a genuine masterpiece.

You'e gotta give them credit: There's not really a single monster overshadowed or drowned out by others on this island, that's pretty impressive considering the amount of monsters and comparing to islands such as gold

Is it okay if I find this kind of nostalgic? I remember everyone despised this island’s mechanics and the amount of effort you put into something that sounds trash. And just over a year later, everyone loves this island. My favourite addition had to be Gnarls Barkley.

To see Amber Island evolve throughout the months was just so beautiful to see. Despite the hate Amber Island had been getting to it getting redeemed, it was amazing to go through every wave and getting these new DOF monsters onto MSM.

With the new 5 element monster and viveine this island feels more complete now, and i didnt expect the song to be extended aswell, this update in my opinion really saved amber island

When krillby was added, I knew it was very underused, it normally gets overshadowed, it getting another verse to play in inside the final wave made me so ecstatic, glad to see Krillby comeback again, probably for the final time. I dont expect dawn of fire to make more outer islands, as it will be PAIN getting to lvl 25+ especially since Krillby is already on the 2 hardest islands to get monsters on AND is a quad.

It’s pretty crazy to see how much amber island has evolved. I’m really happy with how it turned out, although it could use some better transitions. Hopefully the colossal can fix that.

This is my top five for this island, judged by who I think contributes the most: 5. Surprisingly Tring, because while he has a minor role, that role involves transitioning into the other sections of the song. I would also consider Drummidary and Gnarls to be in this position just because of how much I enjoy them. 4. Krillby, as not only does he provide a transition, but his main contribution has a nice atmospherics flow to it. He also is a great pair with Rootitoot. 3. Tiawa and Woolabee, as they’re the stars of the second main melody. They also set the theme for their melody 2. Sneyser, because without him and his baseline the main melody would be 50% weaker 1. Sooza and Floogal, as they’re arguably the main melody of the song

Ziggurab really held this island together for the first few waves huh. Percussion was nonexistent without this lad for a while.

I love how at the end of wave 4 everyone just sits there, silently, as flowah and baarb just do their “hooga hoos”

i know everyone saw this island as a complete mess for the majority of it’s existence, but the final additions totally saved the song for me, i think it’s beautiful

ive genuinely never understood the amber island hate, its always been one of my favorite islands since the beginning, and i feel like only now that it's finished, are people finally listening and realizing it's good.

Hearing all the waves in a row for 30 minutes straight and then ending with the new verse is _amazing_

Waves 1-3: The best start to any island ever in my opinion. It seemed like it would be absolutely outstanding Waves 4-6: The Disappointment begins Waves 7-11: Sadness and Disappointment (Aside for a few monsters) Waves 12-14: Somehow, for some unknown reason, they clutched up in the end and saved the island.

I think the evolution of this island is also a good representation of the evolution of msm as a whole. I remember playing this game before dawn of fire, before the fire islands, & before tribal island.

I remember when people used to complain when it was only wave one ☠️ saying they song felt incomplete... when that was the point. It’s kinda funny seeing how people back than used fo complain. But anyway it’s crazy how much it’s evolved and I’m happy to have been here the whole journey.

Its good that they made a new outro, it really fits on Gnarls, Krillby and Thrumble.

This island went from sounding bare to one of my favorite islands. And its nice that i was able to actually get to see an island develop. To be clear, when i learned about msm, basically every island was finished with small things added (epics, new mosnter added, etc.)

This island went from “WOW! This sounds really promising and I love it!” To “okay, I still like the parts that I used to like but I’m not so sure..” to “are they even going to fix this song? I feel like it will always be missing something.” To finally “WOOHOO WHAT A BOP”

Amber island has become one of the best Islands in the game sound wise, and the fact that it started as six monsters… it’s astounding. And I’m so happy that it ended with by far one of the best sounding monsters in the game!
