New documentary on Peacock exploring the legacy of Amber Hagerman, who was abducted on January 13, 1996 and her case remains unsolved.
The tragedy led to the creation of the Amber Alert system.

The reason they were following the family was because they were doing a documentary about the family being on welfare. That's what the original documentary was about! That is the reason they had the footage. People are so ridiculous. Do your research! That is why this was so fascinating. I love how people make comments and know nothing about the truth. She was targeted!

Me and my sister was there when she was taking. the police did not put our report in the papers at the time because we were little black kids back then. The guy had black ford truck with tented windows he was in his 20s at the time and he was a white man he had a big confederated flag tattoo on his neck but they never put that in there and he had on shades. We were on our bikes and the old guy told us the run and he’d call the police. Right there in Arlington tx.

Your story sounds more racist than anything…I think the old man would have seen 2 black kids with her at the time…agreed….stop adding hate & racism to the equation enuffffffffff!

No I’m not it was tx back the and it’s it’s Texas now the date has changed but the people are still the same and why would I lie about this that’s just sick. And yes was there on our bikes and her and her family member

Yeah a little wired maybe they should look into who was involved intimately with the family during this so called welfare documentary
