This is a series I've begun just capturing the ambient scenery from Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games. In the game, if you are outside and leave the controller alone for approximately 2 minutes, the camera will pull away and observe the world.

When I was a kid I used to have a headcanon that Jack lived here after RDR1 and I would play as Jack in Mexico making up stories for him :3

Man that is so awesome. For me, I would stay at Beecher’s, hunt in tall trees all day, sleep back at home, ride into blackwater and then take the train down to Mexico and sell all my goods in Chuparosa to the general store stall in the market :) i made well over $150k lol. I made sure to also save all the stranger missions for Jack (besides the strange man, obviously.)

Tbh, it could be actual canon, because: 1. John needed to escape the law after killing Ross. 2. Mexico just seems like a perfect location to gain healing after all the grief he went to, losing his dad and mom, having everyone he had ever known and loved dying or abandoning him.

@@ShoopityDoopityfor me, (I never knew the year of rdr1) I always dressed Jack up in either the Marshal or us army uniform. Then headed over to the thieves landing warehouse to kill basically everyone there cause in my head, I thought they were Moving Illegal stuff Through crates in thieves landing Then if I was bored in thieves landing, I would wear the gentlemen’s Attire and then play hitman with anyone I see

this is Escalera its not much but for the people that live and work here it is home.... some small shops,a stable,a church,a cantina, a cafe,a gunsmith & blacksmith, they have a town police but they don't do much anymore because there isn't much crime anymore,maybe an occasional litterbug or drunk trying to get home,but they still do what they can.... surrounded by desert on one side and only minimal life out there in the hot dry lands and on the other side a few miles away the river that runs through separating them from a free land,but they love it here why I don't know why,but as I said its home and that's why.... up on the hill behind the village is a big house where the mayor lives he lives very good as you can see,but he is not a mean person he was like this once he still makes sure life is good for everyone here, and if someone is homeless he let's them stay and helps them out not as servants but as friends.... well, it's getting late and all are closing down and are turning in for the night,see you tomorrow,good night and God Bless.

I, just want to leave this here, on April 2020, I had a school project depending on me passing the year or not, it was hard but during the entire month of working on it while listening to this particular video, the calming distant music fading in and out with the ambience, it was an experience, gladly I passed.

i love escalera and punta orgullo in general. the combination of the white sand. plus the palm trees and cactus. makes such a beautiful scenery. and i also love riding around the coast of the river. in the area of the mexico safehouse.

Rdr2 is a masterpiece, but Rdr1, México, the Tall Trees Area, the beautiful and infinitely big but haunting and terrifying landscapes of Undead Nightmare, with barely any animals or random events to pop up... Oh my God, the nostalgia is si fucking strong I could cry
