I can't discuss details here because it might damage your channel. Because America, the country of humanity bearing your name, is trying to forcefully close the mouths of those who speak after this matter. You know what Zionists are or who they are. If you don't know, find out from the internet. I hope you get the whole idea if you dig a little. Your country's government is called Maa. Zionists don't run it. A Jew is not a Zionist. Zionists and Jews are not the same. Judaism is a religion. Everyone has freedom to practice their own religion. But the problem is with Zionists. They are occupying platforms like Google and Meta. 76 years ago, in 1948, the land of Palestine was illegally occupied and the state of Israel was established. And the United States and your own country are trying to do this bad thing. They are hypocrites in the name of spreading the word of peace all over the world. For 76 years, the people of Palestine have been the illegal occupiers. Being brutalized through. Murder, rape, and kidnapping are dirty deeds. When your mother, father will be shot dead in front of you. Your sister will be raped and killed. What will you do when your brother is killed in front of your eyes? Will you not take action against them and remain silent. To put it more simply, think I went to your house and said from today this house I have no right to you in this house. But you didn't listen. You brought sticks to stop us, then you will be called terrorist. I will be called innocent. This is the case for Palestine. Since October 7, 2023, 35,000 people have been killed, most of them women and children. If you do a little research, you will know everything. On October 7, a group of Palestinian soldiers attacked them for their freedom and brought their people to Gaza. But their government is committing genocide in the name of rescuing them. They are killing 15000 children. But the sad thing is that your western media is spreading propaganda for their own benefit. They are not showing the extent of the loss of Palestine. They are hypocrites. Like CNN, BBC, World Estate Journal. Fox News etc. If you want to know the truth about the Israeli media, look at Al-Jazeera, Middle East Eye, etc. I'm not saying you agree. This is your opinion. But if you have humanity, you will stand by the people of Palestine.

You guys are so much fun to watch. HOWEVER, Riley; please use a push stick to finish push-through on the table saw - especially so when a second person is involved pulling long boards. All it would take is Courtney tripping over a stone in the lot and torqueing the board to send your fingers/thumb sideways into the blade. You'd be hurt and she would be forever feeling guilty.

Good job. My advice is to not mount the heat pump on the exterior wall. All the vibration carries through. We did the same on our cabin and it always sounded like someone driving up on an ATV when it turned on. Subsequently, the dogs would start barking. Lol. We took it off the wall and mounted it on a stand. Very quiet now. Ours is a Fujitsu and has worked perfectly through all our weather here in north ID.

The Mr. Cool package says 18K on it. That strikes me as being way too big. It probably should be about half that. Maybe a little less if your insulation is _really_ good! The result will be inadequate dehumidification during cooling times and inadequate air movement during heading times.

glad to see you wearing PPE, so many youtubers use spray foam in a confined space with no PPE, just because it doesn't smell that bad doesn't mean it's safe, while curing it releases isocyanates which are dangerous chemicals, they're also in automotive clear coats, you need PPE to protect your respiratory system, eyes and skin which I'm glad to see that you did : )

Great progress made on your tiny home! I have watched a lot of DIY shows that featured spray foam insulation. Question - doesn’t the full with of the cavity that you are insulating need to be spray foamed, ie. if you wall studs are 2x4 you would have 3.5” of spray foam and virtually no airspace between the foam and your drywall or other wall boards? 🤷‍♂️

Hello friends, I used to use polyurethane foam every day at work years ago. I worked in a boat factory. That mess is ALMOST impossible to get off skin.MEK works. One of the fellows at work built a home out of it. He poured a round pad, had rebar entirely around the circumference. One the concrete dried, he pulled the rebar into a dome. Covered with burlap& then sprayed it. Covered it with shotcrete. He built a double dome with a tunnel in the 70s 2 story, free form interior. He still lives there. I thought this might get Riley's evil genius working there I could take pix if you'd like.

heat excanger with fan
@BreakingBarriers2DIY
@BreakingBarriers2DIY 8 күн бұрын
@@samjubilee6593 Yes it is...but that exchanges the heat...not the air. R2000 homes, for example are exceptionally air tight...and because of that they need to take air out of the house and trade it for fresh air from outside. To deal with heating or air-conditioning seasons a fresh air exchange unit will let the incoming and outgoing air pass each other closely to "exchange their heat" as well. That unit...looks like it only exchanges heat not air.
@samjubilee6593
@samjubilee6593 7 күн бұрын
@@BreakingBarriers2DIY I'm assuming the whole purpose of the heat exchanger is to exhange air (house air out, fresh air in) while conserving heat (using warmer outgoing air to heat colder incoming air) to keep heating costs lower. There would be no purpose to a heat exchanger if it did not bring in fresh outside air. Heat exchanger not necessary in (air) leaky house; would only make sense to use in those airtight R2000 homes you mention.
@BreakingBarriers2DIY
@BreakingBarriers2DIY 7 күн бұрын
@@samjubilee6593 I see what you are saying...but if you look at the unit installed...it is a heat pump. What comes through the wall of the container...is the refrigerant lines. An air exchanger does "exchange some heat" but it's purpose it to bring in fresh air. A heat pump's purpose is to bring heat into the house. Have a look at the lines to the outdoor unit...those "pre-filled" refrigerant lines. It does seem like something that gets overlooked because it is a common confusion between heat pumps and air exchangers. In any case...hopefully the unit door is opened and closed so often that the build up of CO2 or humidity isn't really a concern.
@samjubilee6593
@samjubilee6593 6 күн бұрын
@@BreakingBarriers2DIY The heat exchanger is separate from the heat pump. Just a small unit with a blower to bring fresh air in & stale air out. The warmer indoor air blowing out conducts heat onto the adjoining air incoming ducts, using its "exhale" heat to warm the incoming cooler air, thus conserving heat.

You guys should get a sponsorship from Carhartt. Your son has the cutest Carhartt coat I've seen yet.

With spray foam being an average of R 6-7/inch and only having roughly 2" at most or so (from what I caught on the video) you can definitely still have a condensation issue potentially on the skin of the foam during the winter if it gets cold enough out and the container is occupied. I'm not sure how low your lows get to, but you may want to keep an eye on it during the winter if the surface temperature of the foam can drop below the dew point.

I really would have liked to seen you partner with SprayJones for this episode. Most DIYers get spray foam wrong and have not so good results.

You two have stumbled upon a business. You should build and sell those enmass. That is the coolest off-grid mini home project ever.

I had a MrCool heater/AC in a house in Japan - so much better than duct heating cuz each zone/room was independent. Courtney - I love to watch you get into your Zen mode when you paint, stain, or apply spray foam… you’re in your element! Your mom’s house is going to be incredible! 🌟

when you cut into a ship contianer as much as you have, you lode some rigidity. when you go to move it ther may be considerable twisting forces that couls break a window or at least compromise the way they seal. had this issue before
