I wish I would’ve watched this movie when it came out, it’s amazing. Brooklyn Prince was one of the best child acting I’ve seen in the car scene. And Finn Wolfhard played Miles amazing, I don’t think I could ever act psycho like that. I love this movie but it just confused me a little bit at the end.

yeah tbh it was a weird cut off especially because in the book the old woman and flora leave and then miles dies?? it was weird how they changed it like that

the endign to the movie was essentially meant to be open ended as it was more psychological horror, id say the first endign where she escapes with the kids was all in her head, then when it zooms out of the drawing her mom gave her, it begins the real endign where the truth i guess is that shes actually insane like her mother

i REALLY enjoyed it and i think they did a great job on it. I for sure need to rewatch it and try to understand more about what happened-

i noticed some parallels with the shining i was hoping they would mention it. anyway i enjoyed the movie much more than i expected. maybe it's not for everyone but if u love looking into the little details in a film this one's really interesting. the set & overall aesthetic is a 💎 & the soundtrack is 🔥

Why don’t people like this movie I only watched it’s because of Finn but it’s turned out to be a great movie and I think people don’t like the ending because they hate not having closure, they didn’t like the fact they didn’t have answers or a little happy ending like you would get with the typical horror movie which I think makes the movie all the better, as well as the soundtrack and the colour schemes are unique and give it all the more depth.
