@@michaellloyd6812 Thank you for subscribing. I am up to mission five now. Mission four was umm… tricky. Mission three blew my initial squad away. Hope you continue through the unfolding drama 🫣

Eight months after the fact and KZfaq lets me know that someone is playing one of my favorite games. I had to subscribe.

Thanks for subscribing. That's the bloody Algorithm, its bollocks. Hope you enjoy the playthroughs. I do make plenty of mistakes, but I do get better at the game...honestly.

Subbed. Ambush! Is in my top 10. I’ve played it and Move Out all the way through and have Leather Neck, Purple Heart and Silver Star on the shelf. Anyway, haven’t played the base game in more than a year, pulled it out and needed a refresher so found your channel. Great so far!

There are a few issues with regards to the action chart that take a few episodes to resolve. Hope you enjoy and I help you get this amazing game to the table!

Welcome aboard! I am working through Mission 2 at present. Mission 1 I make a fair few rules mistakes, though none ruined the game.

Looked at your channel. Isn't it strange that I have been making these videos for two years now, and looking up You tube videos about games that I intend to play and never encountered you before. What I have seen on your channel looks fantastic... Subscribed!

@@WW2SolitaireBoardGameChannel So many games … so little time. I noticed your play through of Pattons Best. That is in my list of games to do a play through of in the future. I shall watch your play through to assist my learning of the game when I get to it.

Ouch, it looks like a mini monster game 😐

The game does take a fair chunk of time. This is not a quick 90 minute wham bam done. Unlike Warfighter which generally is…

@@aaronsibley39 Yeah, somehow I've always had an idea in my mind that it's a smaller paragraph game, instead it seems to be more of an RPG-paragraph monster :) Ultimately not for me - I'm not shying away from Monsters but much prefer them in Operational/Strategic scales, I like my Tactical games to be quick and simple

So not an ASL player then 😉. Once you start going the game does speed up. Monster no as its a very small map space. The RPG aspect I like. It creates an interesting narrative. I also like the amount of decisions I have to make, which in some solo games are not present.

@@aaronsibley39 I can see the appeal of this one, hope you'll continue to enjoy it - plus agree on the decisions front, it can probably be re-played with different soldier's loadouts / skills and different approaches (even if you know what will happen sometimes). Think one thing that puts me off more "complex" games is the rules weight - I tend to go full in into the rules and lately I've noticed I've lost stomach for deeper rulesets for tactical games as my main interest lies in strategic/operational ones. If I go through 50 pages of rules just to play the game twice and put it on my shelf I'm not a happy gamer 😂

@@przemekbozek Agreed with rules reading. Its becoming much more of a chore and snooze fest. These rules weighed in at 27 pages before I could play the first mission. However compared to the prior set of rules that I read (Pacific War), they were a breeze. Also very clear explanations and so far no glaring omissions, unlike Pacific War which has more holes than Swiss cheese.
