Just like my library of 4k movie discs, I never stream my movies and video games since. I always go for 4k because I love 4k and I been used to 4k ever since 2014 and I switched to 4k full time with the exception playing old school consoles like my n64 connected to my samsung curve qled 4k tv. My n64 is so pixelated on my 4k tv lol. I even noticed the difference when watching a 4k, blu ray and dvd discs that I bought and own when watching them far away. I mainly use far distance as an experiment but the majority of time, I'm watching my movies and playing video games as close as possible with the screen brightness maxed out and back light brightness maxed out. I'm used to using very bright displays since it has been second nature to me for so many years. I developed a habit for so many years that viewing content at max brightness 24/7 even indoors even with oled displays dark mode always off and auto brightness always off and manual always brightness cranked to its highest settings available is something that I have enjoyed doing and I can't go back to anything else. Using very bright displays is like the equivalent of being used to and enjoying curve displays and it makes me not want to go back to using any flat displays.
