I should mention that this was recorded a while ago. Like almost a year. At that time, Doodle Dabble was active and it's been said (correct me if I'm mistaken) that she's been so busy with real life, she had to quit her channel. So please no comments like "Doodle isn't around anymore" because I know. This was her last video unless otherwise.
So with that said, here's Amending Fences. My apologies once again for the huge delay. I hope you enjoy.

I couldn't praise this episode enough, this episode demonstrated what the show is all about, this my 2nd favourite episode of the entire series, my favourite episode by MA Larson and my 2nd favourite episode of season 5. If Slice Of Life was a tribute to the fans, this episode was a tribute to the Lauren Faust and the entire staff and cast of MLP ^^ Great review Golden and Doodle ^^

It was a removal of the background music that had to be muted. The video was blocked prior because of this.

So Lightning Bliss fights off Thunder Blight, unknowingly giving form to CatroonZ, who takes over Toon and taunts Goldenfox with and breaks him, thus giving rise to Golden's evil alter ego. You guys are doing a fantastic job interconnecting your stories. :D

Loved, loved LOVED this review, well done to you both. Topics ya'll covered I heavily relate to and I admit sent me thinking about my past and how I treated some older friends and/or how some friends moved on and we stopped talking and didn't understand why. It's a deep topic to be sure that I'll happily talk about with friends later on ^^

Yay, a goldenfox analysis video. I do love them and I don't care how infrequent they are, they're always a treat, and I believe in quality over quantity And of course gushing what I felt was the best episode of season 5 certainly helps ^^

This is my absolute favorite of Season 5. Though, in hindsight, Moondancer really should've been more grateful just to have three ponies show up to her party. I mean, I know what it's like to host an event and hope for a certain person to show up only to have them flake on you, but still.

Great review from one of my favorite Season 5 episodes! I really love this episode: great Story, great new character, great moral, and even great animation. I also liked your interactions with Doodle Dabble, this is why I love collab reviews. Also, it seems you're doing a redemption saga similar to MisAnthro Pony. That's pretty fascinating.

I actually adore this episode for personal reasons as well :) it's great to know that the message and impact is timeless as I've recently went back to it and it felt like the first time watching it all over again. *sees the end* Uh, Golden...? I thought this was really well done, especially since they released season 6 so soon. And this new arc with Golden's character leaves me wondering what will happen next. Kinda like this episode and what's in store for Twilight.

A colab wth Doodle Dabble, now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. It's kind of sad life got in the way and she had to retire her channel, I think she had great potential off of her unique OC alone. But life happens and what she did leave us was still a good run so while it's sad, life goes on and I hope hers goes great. on a less sad note (or possibly more) that ending tough... I await with open eyes and ears for the continuation. Doubly so considering the episode in question.

Heard about what happened to Doodle Dabble, sorry to hear that. Hope she's doing well in her real life. And boy am i so glad this episode exists. It made the series go full circle, it added Moondancer to the ''ponies i wish i could hug'' list ,and it gives a lot to think about regarding friendships of the past and how we might hurt them without even knowing. Heck, i myself had this good friend from Middle School, but ever since he's moved to another town, and although we were in good terms last time we talked, we're so out of touch now that it's ridiculous. That teaser at the end.....i have seen the review that comes after it and.....wow is it intense.

Thanks for your concern! I kind of did get sick.... got tendonitis in both hands (which, as you can imagine, makes it a little difficult to draw XD they're all better now) and I graduated college this winter. I've been doing a lot of training for future jobs, trying out different possible careers, and working on my music. I should have made a video update or something. I'm sorry for suddenly vanishing!

Watched this one again recently and my level of praise for it has gone down considerably. When people say they "relate" to Moondancer, it reminds me of how "relatable" Fluttershy was in the earlier seasons, in that the reality is she has crippling mental problems. Her reaction to Twilight missing her party is hugely out of proportion and yet the episode treats it like it is somehow all Twilight's fault.

That was a great review but why does everyone seems to forget Twilight had 5 friends and she never bothered to fix things with the fifth one. I love the episode, but I think the writers forget about Lyra heartstrings.

I'm going to say this: If Twilight went to the party, it would be your last. Twilight and her friends saved Equestria multiple times. How about that huh, Moon Bitch?! If I was Twilight, I'd walk away and not even bother to become friends again! She fucking saved her ass. Ofcourse she didn't show up, she was worried about the wellbeing of her country. And yes, of course she left. Celestia sented her to Ponyville. I bet she didn't say goodbye to her brother, parents and Cadence neither. Yet none of them seemed to care. They knew what Twi have done, had to go through and were proud of her. If I was Moon Dancer I'd be honoured that the PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP and SAVIOR OF EQUESTRIA wanted to be friends with me. Heck, I'd immediately forgive her and tell,"Ah it's ok! You did it for the country we live in and the Princess wanted you in Ponyville. If I was you, I'd go to" So now see it from Twilight's pov

Twilight did say goodbye, It's shown in A Canterlot Wedding that Shining Armor was there when twilight left. Also unless you had that experience you cant say what you would do due to hormones affecting the brain causes different reactions from people. Moon Dancer was probably really emotionally affected by the experience, like Golden Fox shows he was by his run in with Cartoonz. While yes it is wrong that Twilight didn't say goodbye, and yes Moon Dancer did act very harshly about Twilight missing the party, It was Moon Dancers first time trying to reach out of her comfort zone. You can assume that Moon Dancer holds Twilight up on a pedestal by the was she made herself out to be a mirror of Twilight in the flashback, but then changes to her own hair style in the present. So if you were a reclusive person, and you idolized your best friend, if they didn't show up to your first attempt to exit your comfort zone you would be upset. If you made it through all that good job a know I'm just trying to be helpful, and next time try to keep anger out of you criticism. I know Golden Fox is working on it but how can we help give him hope if we fall into the same trap. I don't mean to be rude but next time try to think properly before criticizing even if you have to walk away for a little while.Hope I helped and have a nice day! :)

Ok I have hevey ishew with this EP it was not Twis Fault she had no disishen in the matter it was Ergent her teacher gave her a Mia hen if she never whent Eqwestrea would never have been saved but twilight could have sent her a nice letter explaining why she did it and not disappear on Face of the earth call every once in a while these could've been solution to the problems

Honestly, I think this episode is kind of overrated. It's not that it's a bad episode, far from it. But I don't think it's even in the top 5 of the season, let alone the series.
