Welcome to Mama Rocks, a restaurant chain that started with two African women who left the corporate life back in the UK to make a name for themselves in the food industry.
With now four different locations around Nairobi and over 100 employees, this business venture started with one simple food truck.
From the Maasai Mama Burger to the T.I.A (This Is Africa) Burger, they truly brought two different cultures together to make a classic even better!

I ate there at different branches in Nairobi and it was very tasty, altough it's a bit pricey. But the quality is worth it.

Dave Mani: I've decided to throw caution to the wind and travel to Nairobi in spite of Covid. I've scheduled a flight after the rainy season. I will be there for a couple of weeks. Can you recommend a safe, inexpensive Airbnb near downtown, so I don't need a Uber each time I go out. Not looking for a high end residential Airbnb; I'm vacationing on a budget. Also can you recommend a reasonable tour guide. I plan to visit Mombasa, but, keep my Airbnb in Nairobi until I leave. I surely appreciate any assistance you extend on my first trip to Nairobi. It has been highly recommended to contact you through your video. I've been looking forward to this trip to Nairobi and Mombasa for quite some time and can't wait to try ugali. Thank you in advance for any assistance you extend; it will be greatly appreciated.

Well you're not gonna like my response haha 😅 We do our best to avoid the downtown area as it is very chaotic and constant traffic jams so we never really stayed there. In terms of your guide, we also never use them as we prefer to explore on our own. And finally chapatis are MUCH better than ugali haha. All the best for your trip.

Dave Mani- I'm so disappointed in you. I received your answers, "you don't stay in accommodations near downtown" and "you don't use guides". Sorry, I expected a little more from you. I was referred to you for some assistance thinking you might know of a Airbnb near downtown or a guide you might have come across in your knowledge of Nairobi. Sorry, I asked you for help. @@lindsieodhiambo4669 - Please don't refer to me as "dude". This shows your level of intelligence. I was referred to "Dave Mani", by "Expats Everywhere", b/c they felt he was familiar with Nairobi. I don't feel my request for assistance was/is unreasonable, but, Dave's response was no help whatsoever. My trip is scheduled and I was able to get the help I needed from more considerate vloggers. I feel "Dave" could have helped me, but, really didn't want to help a new traveler to Nairobi. There are Airbnb locations near the city that meet my approval that are not in the downtown area and incidentally, downtown has a number of locations I'd like to see on my trip including the Kenya International Conference Center Building (KICC). You should mind your own business if your desire is not to help.

I have had a bad experience at mama rocks food poisoning i.e but I believe it could have happened at any other place. Overall best burger place in Nairobi

Aww poor little brioche bun! Ha ha. Yes, it's a little wrinkled from being wrapped (the steam) but freshly baked same day and delicious🤤 so don't let that put you off.
