Ummm sorry but New Jersey is NOT in New England, Neither is Pennsylvania or New York. New England is comprised of all of the States North and East of New York. New Jersey is in the Mid Atlantic Region

@Steven Bristol The Tri-State area is used all over the place so it's not just unique to those three states. In Southern New Jersey/Philadelphia area, the Tri-State area stands for New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. I am sure this term is used in other areas of the US as well and stand for three other states.

I grew up eating it in MD and when I moved to ME we couldn’t find it for the longest time. We did get some eventually in a local store but it’s nowhere near the authentic stuff. We get relatives to ship it here sometimes.

well im from maryland so i know, but they are further south and I think scrapple isn't a big thing down in the Carolinas. But I've NEVER heard of eating it dipped in jelly, sauce, etc. You eat it with breakfast (like sausage, bacon), and it's great with eggs and cheese. One of my favorite foods, along with hotdogs of course (but not at the same time lol)
