Mother of Mercy Messengers (MOMM) is a Catholic evangelization apostolate under the auspices of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception based at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Dave and Joan operate the apostolate from their home near San Antonio, Texas. Since 1999, they have taken the message of Divine Mercy to over 1000 parishes, schools, and conferences across the United States and beyond.
Divine Mercy for America is an initiative launched in 2012 based on praying and sacrificing for our nation the way the Lord instructed St. Faustina Kowalska to do so for her country of Poland in the 1930s. It is both a prayer campaign and a network of thousands of faith-filled Catholics committed to spreading the Divine Mercy message and devotion in deed, word, and prayer. A four-part Action Plan based on the writings of St. Faustina provides a clear way to respond to the problems and evil in the world today.
Members can keep connected by email or text messages and choose their level of participation. The popular novena group members conveniently receive the proper prayers for the day early in the morning so that they are available as needed.
If you are doing all you are able to live and spread the Divine Mercy message and devotion, then YOU ARE DIVINE MERCY FOR AMERICA! We want to be connected with you and to support you.

Well, I think it should be our national song but I think the national anthem shouldn’t change. It’s embedded with the flag. Any time we fly the flag and salute it shoudl be the star spangled banner. Any other time we should have this.

As a Swede who lived in America for almost six years, I really appreciate the beautiful lyrics in the song and its divine messages (putting the political aspects aside). You also have to consider it was written over 120 years ago when the country was quite different from today and it is the dynamic, optimistic and uplifting spirit of the time that is reflected quite well in this song

I'm Canadian and in tears right now; this so beautifully sang, glorying the LORD OF ALL nations; Jesus Christ ! I watched a full length movies many years ago about how most of the best anthems were written by this one Christian man; and that movie was made in Hollywood yet! Thus all of the greatest anthems still sung to this day; on various special patriotic occasions; holidays; - are sung; - written mostly by Christians, as seen in the movie I saw. The pictures in this video are lovely ! When the pledge of Allegiance is spoken by ANNIE KARTO; that's when my heart jumped right into my throat; so choked up, I could barely breathe! This is what I've now placed on my FACEBOOK today; July 4th ! God bless my CANADA as well as GOD BLESS THE USA; we do both live on this gigantic continent called NORTH AMERICA! Thus, ... we are as neighbours all AMERICANS remember !

YOU ARE JUST PLAIN IGNORANT; YOU KNOW THIS? Were you not taught any manners at all while growing up? Wait a minute; the problem is; - is that you are far from grown up how you've come at me so rudely; and I truly hope you soon learn that there's a decent mature way to correct people;- without spilling words out as if a child of 3 not thinking them out first ! You're acting like a first class know it all to boot in the way you correct others. People that are in your life; family especially; - must just find it such a JOY being around you should they be wrong about something! < Of course I say this sarcastically because people like you enjoy tearing people down, more so then building them up. When tearing people down, it comes from being really insecure; always having a need to take total control over things; - because it gives the insecure person like you are, a feeling of power, yet it's soon gone and that insecurity from whatever caused it, is still a deep root; within one's soul; - like a weed that's extremely hard to pull out of the ground. You have absolutely no " people skills" at all or you wouldn't have come at me in the way you've done. I hope you learn what good people skills are soon, developing good character traits rather then bad,- like you have, proven by your words to me. I honestly hope you do learn by what I'm saying ; so that you hopefully, some day understand why I'm upset at this time ( I do forgive you though) understanding what I've said; so that people are drawn to you rather then pulling away from you eventually, not long after being in your life; - saying behind your back, what I've said right to you here ; - in order to help you; The main lesson behind this being: How you treat others will surely come full circle right back to you; - and bite you right in your arse; or bless you; one way or the other depending upon how you chose to be. If bitten in the butt; see if you're laughing it off then.

Take a part. Left or right. Democrat or Republican. America is our country. I believe every American citizen whether they’re Democrat or Republican has a right to this country. The star Spangled Banner is about a very important battle in the American revolutionary war where the number one priority is that the flag didn't fall. At the end of the battle our Flag remained. That is why it is our national anthem. If you listen to the song it tells that story.

***** America is a nickname for a country. But you're right, the term America can be used to refer to both.
@Scorchcast
@Scorchcast 9 жыл бұрын
***** Well it depends on whether or not you're South American really. South Americans are the *only* ones who have a problem with us referring to ourselves as Americans and that's where the argument that "America is a continent" came from. But the fact is, we were the first on the continent to break off the shackles of our European oppressors and thus we can call ourselves whatever we want. That didn't stop South America from almost forming the USSA (United States of South America.) and had they I would have no problem calling that America either. Everyone just has too much time on their hands when they can nit-pick national nicknames.

***** But all the nations involved spoke primarily Spanish... The only reason it didn't succeed to my understanding is because as far as I'm aware the leader of the nation that came up with the plan ended up becoming a xenophobic dictator.

That verse about pilgrim feet and self-control is my favorite part. We were founded by outcasts from England searching for a place they could exercise their own beliefs in peace. They were not warmly welcomed by the natives or the elements. In spite of all that, the good and bad from it, we scrambled together a nation that I am blessed to call home. Thank you for your comment. It is who we all are that makes us resilient and persevering all these years. God bless.

No country is without flaws, and America has her fair share of dark times, but she has also done so much good for the world. The beautiful America that fought for its independence when she was nothing but 13 colonies. The country that innovating the world with technological and scientific discoveries. The country that came to the world's aid in WWI and WWII, the greatest conflicts in human history. The country that liberated west Europe, East Asia, and about ten years later would save South Korea from destruction. America may have had terrible events in her past and may still struggle with present issues, but she is my home. God bless America 🇺🇸
