I love that tune. I find myself singing it out of nowhere sometimes right in the middle of public places. I notice people lookin at me and then grinning.

I've seen this several more times since my last comment. That vocal group is so good that, frankly, they brings tears to my eyes. What I wouldn't give to have been a fly on the wall during that session. Over the last 50 years I've written/produced/recorded over 50 jingles - and had great singers. But these guys/gals are over the top. It would really have been awesome to be a part of something this great! Watching that DC-10 rotate and snap to a 20 degree nose angle is truly inspiring. Like watching the 'Blue Angels' - it makes you proud!

@@nicderkez3544 the DC-10 is severely outdated and not really safe and technologically advanced compared to today’s Dreamliners.

Magnificent jingle - first rate vocal performance - fabulous key change in the middle. Frankly, I miss hearing this style of jingle. They're gone with the wind.

Jim Bach Last sentence was 100% true. If there slogan was the same and their attitude was the same I’d be happy to work there. I’d rather work at Southwest now. They are the New American!

0:43 that’s actually an American Airlines MD-11

Or DC-10-30 which American also had and have the middle gear like the MD-11

@@user-e-idk actually if you looked closer at the nose there’s the MD-11 name, and the airframe is also longer than the DC-10-30

Nope, not an MD-11. You can tell by the engine nacelle shapes,and even their paint schemes. Plus, you’d need a Time Machine to put a MD-11 in this commercial

Well guys the footage here is quite blurry, but if u see Mayday S05E01 the same footage is used, but the MD-11 logo can be seen more clearly
