In this video, I share two species of edible blusher mushroom - one yellow and one brown. Blushers are popular with mushroom hunters around the world. American blushers are represented by numerous species that range from slender, ivory-and-red wine colored mushrooms to fat, warty brown monsters with reddish pits crawling with millipedes. With the start of mushroom season in June, these red-staining, warted mushrooms with a little bulb at the base start to show up everywhere, which makes them excellent candidates for learning about the Amanita genus and collecting mushrooms in general.
