When technology gets to the point where war is live-streamed, you need to pursue a career in moderating it.

All war, real or fake, is moderated to some degree or another.

We already can live-stream war. It's just so messed up that it would be a bad idea. It may be fun in games but in real-life "War is hell!" - Gen. Sherman

At about exactly 5:00, you totally missed the beginning of the Confederate Officer’s epic one-man attack. He dodges a cannon shell by running around his cover, the slowly moves up on the enemy Union lines. Nothing but his revolver, he survives until like 6:00 when he gets hit by an artillery shell or something

that was probably the thing that every one wants to see looking for just that perfect non historical roleplayish series with big and small battles with a story that leads to the next one and actually had tactical value and thinking. i really think that it would probably be one of the best video games ever but the sad part is that it would be one of the hardest to make and it shows how great it is even by people still asking for it after all this time i do wish it was going to be on this channel i would not even care if the factions place and ideals were different i would just hope for even a long lasting series and not just different settings battles and genre every episode maybe even naming the leaders commanders and making his own complete story building up the faction from one man to five to one hundred to a thousand even having the battles of the story time or what or the second episode of the series which has to be one of my favorite videos i have ever seen but really all i want is to see something that is a long lasting series that was made the way that diplex wants it to be without people saying they don't want there kids to be listining to this while saying what he wants to say with out every one having to be touchy and and parents saying there there kids cant watch this if there is swearing and getting caught up on anything that is said or in a video

You should do a hypothetical Battle of Washington D.C. in 1865 where the British are helping the Confederate States.
@stabingAdragon6 жыл бұрын
The origin of the term Uncle Sam, though disputed, is usually associated with a businessman from Troy, New York, Samuel Wilson, known affectionately as “Uncle Sam” Wilson. The barrels of beef that he supplied the army during the War of 1812 were stamped “U.S.” to indicate government property. That identification is said to have led to the widespread use of the nickname Uncle Sam for the United States, and a resolution passed by Congress in 1961 recognized Wilson as the namesake of the national symbol.

Here's how the name "Uncle Sam" came about diplex. The name is linked to Samuel Wilson, a meat packer from Troy, New York, who supplied barrels of beef to the United States Army during the War of 1812.Wilson (1766-1854) stamped the barrels with “U.S.” for the United States, but soldiers began referring to the grub as “Uncle Sam’s.” The local newspaper picked up on the story and Uncle Sam eventually gained widespread acceptance as the nickname for the U.S. federal government. The iconic Confederate flag that almost everyone in America knows about was actually the Virginia Battle flag used by the troops from Virginia. And since Robert E Lee was from Va and lead the Army of Virginia, one of the most famous Civil War armies, the Virginia Battle flag has become synonymous with the Confederacy when in actuality it's not.
@johnivey94356 жыл бұрын
You are right but the battle flag of the army of Northern Virginia the one Robert E Lee lead used a square version wile the army of Tennessee used the rectangle version which is known as the Southern Cross

Anyone ever hear of the Stars and Stripes trilogy by Harry Harrison? It's an alternate history series where just after the Civil War began, the British become involved and attack both sides causing the Union and the Confederacy to rejoin again to fight against the invading British. I'd like to see a battle like that where it's Union and Confederates vs British.

Got a feeling the Yankees lost cause the outer walls were higher than the inner walls. meant only one row could shoot at a time and that the attackers were shooting down onto the second defensive line.

NevermindPlays You should, I have 500 hours soon under my belt, all in Editor. Red Rising mod mostly. It has such a variety of mods, that keeps it going. But do remember, even if the game itself is only 3 gigs, all the mods increase it drastically, Red Rising alone is 17,5 gigs. So if you have similar problems with space I recommend a second thought. Some mods I recommend are Red Rising, GSM, Galaxy at War and Born In the Fire America. Red Rising alone is amazing

Someone whose familar with Louisiana should make a map of the Cecilia and Breaux Bridge areas as we think they were in the 1860s and we can have a battle of the skirmishes along the Bayou Teche. Or maybe recreate the historical area near Tensas and we can have those battles. I want to see Louisiana get blood soaked virtually. (Seriously this state has seen so much war.)

Just a suggestion. Don't zoom, spin, or move around the map so much. Just sit and stay in one spot for a bit so we can enjoy the nuances of the battle. It's dizzying to get situated on one part to see what's happening. Then get zipped all the way across the map.
