American Dad: Roger Tries To Defend Francine In Court (Clip) | TBS

2 жыл бұрынRoger appears as a lawyer, Mr. Dickle, and offers to defend Francine in the same courtroom as Little Bonnie. However, his defense goes poorly, with the judge rejecting his last minute-produced evidence for not having been submitted in advance. As a result, Francine is sentenced to four life sentences and Roger is forced to admit that he really has lost his edge. Meanwhile, Steve, Stan, and Hayley are on a cruise with a hired actress, Isabella, that is posing as Francine. Steve does a sexy dance with Isabella. Afterwards, the girl Steve likes wants to be with him. Drunk Hayley falls overboard and Isabella dives in after her.

Their mistake (both Roger for selecting that persona and Francine for trusting in) was that the base persona of Ed Dickle wasn't as a lawyer, just a showman. Roger's personas rarely fail, outside of external intervention. Like Jeannie Gold, Super Positive Asian Roland Chang, even charlatan medium Chantilly Dubois. All of them always make it work on their part. If Ed Dickle had been a good lawyer persona, he'd have gotten Francine out of it. Hence why he only called that persona The Ultimate Showman.

Series finale: Francine goes to jail forever. Haley drowns at sea. Roger gives up on personas for good. Steve finally gets a girl & starts a family. Stan moves on decides to not remarry. Who cares about Claus?
